1.Increase intake of oily foods that are easily digested, sweet things, purified butter, vegetable soups, milk and almonds. 2.Avoid rice, refined flour, kidney beans, and other foods that cause flatulence. 3.Avoid physical and mental exertion. 4.Get a good night’s sleep. 5.Have regular, gentle body massage with lukewarm sesame oil. 6.Dhanurasan and Ujjai Pranayam are highly recommended for cervical pains. 7.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 8.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 9.Take 1 tsf triphala churna daily...

Ayurveda believes in digestion not into giving heavy food for weight gain. According to ayurveda, food which are easy to digest but nutrient can gain weight. But I need detait history for perfact solution. Like your appetite? bowel habits sleeping habits kind of your work or job life style diet etc. But till you can do following: take daal rice more. Use cow ghee n milk. Avoid over eating start massage with til oil in morning, after that, do exercise whatever you want then bath focus in yourself avoid stress anger fear take ajvayan 1 tsp after meal. Start chyavanprash in morning.

Hello dear. There is natural way (medicine or food) to get rid of glasses. To get rid of glasses you have 2 options. Contact lens and other is lasik surgery. Both are equally safe if done properly. Contact lens is temporary but lasik is permanent way to get rid of glasses. Both are long lasting and both are safe. My opinion is if you want permanent removal of glasses then choose lasik as it is hassle free and permanent.

Nebulising a 6 month old child suffering from congestion is safe if done with plain water but can be harmful in long period if frequently using steroids in steam while nebulising----------------so in nutshell nebulising a child is almost safe if done infrequently-----------------

What probably can be a boon healer for eczema which is not showing a sign of any improvement after consuming and applying various medicines. Is there any solution from the kitchen?

Diploma in Gastroenterology, Diploma In Pulmonary Medicine , MSCP, BHMS, SVD( skin and veneral diseases)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
I advice you to consult a homeopath for a permanet cure of your eczema. Homeopathy will cure you with no side effects and is the best when it comes to skin disease. You may want to determine what's causing your eczema; food triggers? allergy? stress? genetics? if it's eczema, you can use a paste of water (or milk) and baking soda to help ease the itch before moisturizing. Neutrogena makes an excellent moisturizer, simply called" moisture" it's oil-free, frangrance-free, alcohol-free and they have a type that is specifically made for sensitive skin. Pat it gently onto the eczema rather than rubbing. When is comes to make-up and eczema, less is better, as your skin needs to breathe. You can try increasing your omega 3's by taking evening primrose oil. Flax seeds and flax seed oil supplements act as anti-inflammatories. Some people have had success using turmeric. A few helpful, (and natural) hints for a better complexion for the rest of your life: - avoid any products with alcohol (internally or externally) - only use gentle, alcohol-free cleansers on your face - avoid scented soaps and creams - have a daily facial cleansing routine (2x daily, morning & night. Do not scrub as this will irritate the skin) - try a dairy milk face-soak during a flare-up. (as long as you're not allergic) the dairy milk helps to balance the natural ph of the skin - try using face lotion containing certified green algae (use lotion, not creams, as lotion is more gentle on the skin and absorbs more easily) - avoid extended periods in direct sun (use sunblock with 15 - 30 spf) inflamed skin can burn more easily. - drink green tea and rose hip tea (great antioxidants) - eat foods high in anti-oxidants; such as blueberries, cranberries, purple grapes, broccoli, etc. - avoid spicy foods and greasy foods - find out what your own personal food" triggers" are and avoid them so you can avoid flare-ups. - avoid hot showers & hot tubs, (the heat will dilate blood vessels causing more redness, as well as dry out your skin) - try to get at least 7 - 8 hours of sleep each night (sleep aids in our bodies healing processes) - try to cut down on stress.

I am a 42 year old male from tamil nadu. I am suffered by diabetes and blood pressure for the past 3 years. My ppbs is around 270 mg per dl. My bp level is around 140 / 90. Kindly advise me.

CDIABT, MBBS
Endocrinologist, Mumbai
For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Walking for 30 mins a day for at least 5 days in a week is recommended. Medicine will depend upon fbs and ppbs. Your ppbs is high, so I will recommend to make changes in your meals and to go for a walk post meal. And if still your ppbs remains high than you should consult the doctor.

Hi. If you can follow some basic things then you will get better results in a short period of time, 1) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals, 2) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal, 3) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 4) avoid late night sleeping habits, 5) avoid coffee and tea, A) take 30ml of BHRUNGARAJASAVAM and 30 ml of water and 1 TSF of jaggery after meals, B) apply equal quantity mixture of aloe vera juice and divya godhan ark of patanjali ayurveda in the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda) three times in a week, do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective, avoid use of any shampoo and hair oil…for 30 days…THANKS.

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
Dear, follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

I am losing my hair. I searched on a net. And I found that. This is because masturbation. I am masturbating regularly 1-4 times a day since. Last 7years. Is this true that I am losing my hair because of this?

Vaidya Visharad
Ayurveda, Narnaul
Dirty hair causes more hair fall, and shampooing hair daily reduces falling of hair. Fixed amounts of hair fall every day. If hair are washed after a long gap, then also those hair will fall. It is possible that most of the hair fall happens during the massage before shampooing and while shampooing you find less hair fall.
