Laser Hair Removal - The Best Way To Get Rid of Unwanted hair

In the recent days of fashion and exposure, more and more people want their hair removed. They use plucking, threading, waxing, creams, shaving etc. But all these methods are temporary and have side effects. Laser hair removal is permanent painless option to remove unwanted hair.
In females, upper lip- chin, cheeks, under arms, legs and bikney area are common sites for lhr. While in males beard shaping, eyebrows setting, chest and back with forearms and private parts are the common sites.
Hair removal laser works on black pigment of active hair root and cause permanent damage to it, so that hair cannot grow in future. So that it cannot work on brown or grey- white hair. All hair roots are not active at a given point of time. So in one sitting all hair can't be removed and it requires multiple sittings- 5 to 6 routinely.

Lhr causes hair growth retardation, delay in growth, permanent hair removal. 85 to 90 percent hair are removed permanently. Remaining will become very thin and colorles.

In ladies with hair on lips and chin, hormone check up required to get good results.

Lhr is painless, permanent hair removal method with very good results at affordable prices.

Pregnancy: The Second Trimester

Pregnancy: The Second Trimester

The Second Trimester: What You Need to Know

  • During your second trimester prenatal visits, your health care provider will continue to check on your and your baby’s health, including monitoring the fetal heartbeat.

  • The second trimester is the most physically enjoyable for most women. Morning sickness usually lessens by this time, and the extreme tiredness and breast tenderness usually ease up.

  • Your fetus has now developed all its organs and systems and will now begin to grow in length and weight.

  • You may be able to feel the movement of the fetus for the first time at around 20 weeks. This phenomenon is called quickening.

  • A fetus born at the end of 24 weeks may survive in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Prenatal Visits During the Second Trimester

During your second and third trimester prenatal visits, your health care provider may check the following, depending on your current medical condition and the health of the fetus:

  • Any current symptoms or discomforts

  • Your weight

  • Your blood pressure

  • Urine test. This is done to find albumin, a protein that may indicate pre-eclampsia or toxemia, and glucose (which may indicate hyperglycemia).

  • Growth, size and development of the fetus

  • Size of the uterus. After approximately 12 weeks of gestation, the uterus can be felt through the abdominal wall.

  • Height of the fundus (top of the uterus), starting at 20 weeks of gestation

  • Fetal heartbeat

The Second Trimester: What to Expect

The second trimester marks a turning point for the mother and fetus. You will usually begin to feel better and start showing the pregnancy more. Your fetus has now developed all its organs and systems and will now begin growing in length and weight.

During the second trimester, the umbilical cord continues to thicken as it carries nourishment to the fetus. However, harmful substances also pass through the umbilical cord to the fetus, so care should be taken to avoid alcohol, tobacco and other known hazards.

During the second trimester, both your body and the fetus continue to grow.

The Second Trimester: Changes to Your Body

The second trimester is the most physically enjoyable for most women. Morning sickness usually lessens by this time, and the extreme tiredness and breast tenderness usually ease up. These changes can be attributed to a decrease in levels of human chorionic gonadotropin hormone and an adjustment to the levels of estrogen and progesterone hormones.

The following is a list of changes and symptoms that may happen during the second trimester:

  • Appetite may increase.

  • You may be able to feel the movement of the fetus for the first time around 20 weeks. This phenomenon is called quickening.

  • The uterus grows to the height of the bellybutton around 20 weeks, making the pregnancy visible.

  • The skin on the belly may itch as it grows, and there may be pain down the sides of the body as the uterus stretches. The lower stomach may ache as ligaments stretch to support the uterus.

  • The need to urinate often may decrease as the uterus grows out of the pelvic cavity, relieving pressure on the bladder.

  • Your nose may become congested, and you may experience nosebleeds. This is due to the increase in hormones (estrogen and progesterone) and blood flow that affect the mucous membranes and blood vessels in the nose.

  • Your gums become spongier and may bleed easily. This is due to the increase in hormones (estrogen and progesterone) that affect the mucous membranes in the mouth.

  • Varicose veins and hemorrhoids may appear.

  • You may have a white-colored vaginal discharge called leukorrhea. (A colored or bloody discharge may signal possible complications and should be examined immediately.)

  • The increasing weight gain may cause backaches.

  • Skin pigmentation may change on the face or abdomen due to the pregnancy hormones.

  • Heart burn, indigestion and constipation may continue.

The Second Trimester: Fetal Development

Fetal growth from weeks eight through 40 is depicted visually in this chart.

Now that all the major organs and systems have formed in the fetus, the following six months will be spent growing. The weight of your fetus will multiply more than seven times over the next few months, as the fetus becomes a baby that can survive outside of the uterus.

By the end of the second trimester, your fetus will be about 13 to 16 inches long and weigh about 2 to 3 pounds. Fetal development during the second trimester includes the following:

  • The fetus kicks, moves and can turn from side to side.

  • The eyes have been gradually moving to the front of the face, and the ears have moved from the neck to the sides of the head. The fetus can hear your voice.

  • A creamy white substance (called vernix caseosa, or simply vernix) begins to appear on the fetus and helps to protect the thin fetal skin. Vernix is gradually absorbed by the skin, but some may be seen on babies even after birth.

  • The fetus is developing reflexes, like swallowing and sucking.

  • The fetus can respond to certain stimuli.

  • The placenta is fully developed.

  • The brain will undergo its most important period of growth from the fifth month on.

  • Fingernails have grown on the tips of the fingers and toes, and the fingers and toes are fully separated.

  • The fetus goes through cycles of sleep and wakefulness.

  • Skin is wrinkly and red, covered with soft, downy hair (called lanugo).

  • Hair is growing on the head of the fetus.

  • Fat begins to accumulate in the fetus.

  • Eyelids are beginning to open, and the eyebrows and eyelashes are visible.

  • Fingerprints and toeprints have formed.

  • Rapid growth is continuing in fetal size and weight.

  • The 20th week marks the halfway point of the pregnancy.

A fetus born at the end of 24 weeks may survive in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Female Orgasmic Disorder- How to Treat It?

Female Orgasmic Disorder- How to Treat It?

It is not just men who are worried about their performance in bed now-a-days, but women too worry about the same and our society too is changing and the men are more considerate about their partner's pleasure. Female orgasmic disorder (FOD) is now quite common in women of all ages and there are innumerable therapies that can treat this trouble efficiently. This trouble mainly leads to lowering of sexual desire, mainly due to lower production of testosterone. On the other hand, libido also gets decreased as a result of which lubrication gets hampered a lot.

Major therapies for treating FOD:

  • Counselling therapy: This kind of therapy has currently gained popularity as a sex therapy. This therapy is useful among all and can offer optimized benefits in treating FOD. The root troubles of FOD can be easily and accurately detected by this therapy. Some commonest troubles are relationship issues, past abuse, depression, anxiety and other related ones. In this case, you have to visit any experienced counsellor who has specialization in conducting the concerned therapy.
  • Hormonal replacement therapy: This is also quite a popular therapy that can help in increasing the sexual drive in females. This therapy is mainly conducted for increasing the efficiency of the sexual hormones in women so that they can take part in sexual interaction with their partners actively without any hindrances. Menopause symptoms can be completely eliminated using this therapy so that you can fully concentrate on your sexual desires. There are some specific medications that are used in this therapy so that hormonal efficiency can be boosted.
  • Taking supplements: You can now take different kinds of organic or natural supplements that can increase your sexual drive and enhance your testosterone levels. Make sure that only herbal ingredients have been included in the supplements so that unwanted adverse effects can be easily curtailed and you can only get the real effects. Arginmax is a common supplement which is highly enriched with nutrients and thus your body will get all kinds of essential nutrients, especially amino acids that not only increase the sexual arousal but also the blood flow.
  • Taking medications: Taking medications is also quite a good option, but only in case the medicines have been prescribed by certified doctors or sex therapists. Antidepressants can be used for getting rid of depression, which is one of the leading causes of reduced libido and sexual desire in women. Some of the most popular alternative medicines that can be used in this regard are Effexor, Serzone, BuSpar, Celexa and Wellbutrin. All these medicines have lower side-effects, and this is the reason doctors often recommend them. Viagra can also be treated as one of the most useful options as blood-flow can be increased by consuming the same.

The above mentioned therapies are now being treated as the leading options that can offer guaranteed results in increasing women's sexual desire.

Hey my name is dheeraj I am a student I am very upset as I am not gaining weight, I have also increased my diet but y...
Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Related tip: the most powerful way to put on weight - snacking right.

Hello doctors,
Please tell me the rough cost of laparoscopy surgery or any other surgery to open my tubes in faridaba...
Dear lybrate-user, the approximate cost (low estimate) would be between 50 to 70 thousand rupees. You have mentioned financial constraints. In such a situation it would be best if you sought treatment at a tertiary level government hospital like aiims, new delhi or safdarjung hospital.

Dear sir. I am jogging daily nearly 3 km to reduce my weight so I want to knw while doing it. How to breath from nose...
Hello, it is always advised to breath from nose, breathing from mouth is unhealthy. You tend to breathe from mouth when you are breathless, so for that try the two tips: -you can cover your mouth while doing so, to shut the gate for the germs to enter. -breathe in with the nose and breathe out with the mouth but as if you are blowing a candle, it will also make your heart get normal faster. (do it slowly).
