No it is not ! Had it been atrial fibrillations, you would not have been in a position to write to us after so many hours. Get checked for heart anyway.

You can go for following remedy it will help you 1. Take 1 tsp black peppercorns 2. Take 2 tsp sugar candy 3. Take 3 tsp liquorice powder 4. Crush them all to powder 5. Eat ½ tsp of this mixture 4 times a day Causes: • Common cold • Climatic change • Infections this is very helpful.

Hi, When the blood supply is cut off to the cardiac muscles due to blockage in the coronary vessels, heart attack occurs. Please follow these tips to avoid heart attacks: - Work out everyday (yoga or gym) or walk for 1 hour daily. -Avoid excessive intake of sweets, oil fried food, excessive intake of carbohydrates. - Take high fibre diet. - Check your lipid profile once in 6 months and sugar levels once in 3 months. - Undergo stress test (TMT) once in a year - Avoid sedentary life style and be active. - Do not put on weight - Use heart friendly cooking oil like rice bran oil, olive oil, etc - Avoid mental tension and worries.

On Tuesday. I was in class. I got sweating and certainly my heart start beating fast nd my ears nd face become red and hot. Immediately I went to Dispensary in my college. They checked my bp it was normal 122/85 but my pulse rate was 112 at that time. Then I start losing my consciousness like I am very weak and I can't even move. And I got difficulty in breathing too at that time. After some time When everything was fine my body starts shivering and I feel like its very cold. My body starts shivering and after sometime it becomes normal. Today also I got the same. My heartbeat becomes faster nd face nd ears become red nd hot nd its difficult to breath. But after 2-3 minutes everything becomes fine and same shivering and cold temperature. My Triglycerides is 326.10 mg/DL And 25-OH Vitamin D is 17.68 My age is just 20 and weight is 56kgs. What is that I Don't knw. I am very scared. Please help me out?

Hello lybrate-user, what you are experiencing are episodes of panic attack. Do not worry, it's very normal to have these in times of extreme stress. You seem to be worried about exams/ upcoming events. The ways you can treat the episodes is by practicing breathing exercises, doing pranayama too helps this. In times of an attack you need to breath into a bag - preferrably a paper bag, but small plastic bag too can be helpful. Do not worry this is not life threatening.

Hello there I understand your concern and will help you in best possible way first of all do not be alarmed by the figures! a slightly elevated ldl is in no way harmful. Try to incorporate the missings in your life. A little bit of diet exchange and a bit of exercise. Rest continue with your work and eat with family a normal family kitchen meal! you will be fine

I suffer from following ailments: 1. Hypertension for last 30 years. My lipid profile always shows higher value of bad chlostral inspite of my consuming very very low fat diet. 2. Knee pain for last 12 years. Cartage of left leg got broken 12 years back , which under went minicus operation in year 2003. Now I started medicines for lowering chlostral (Rosvas F) for last two months in addition to my regular BP medicine. 3. I also take medicine for Prostate. 4. After starting medicine for chlostral, I now find very severe pain has started in my knees. My age is now 63 years.

Food for Heart Health:

  • Green leafy vegetable like spinach, fenugreek, pak choy, radish leaves, lettuce, etc. Are healthy and are known to reduce the risk of heart diseases and cancer as well. That's because they are extremely low in fat, calories and high in dietary fibre. They also contain folic acid, magnesium, calcium, potassium, etc. These minerals are beneficial for the optimum functioning of the heart. Studies have shown that one daily serving of green leafy vegetables can lower the risk of heart diseases by 11 per cent.
  • Oats are one the most healthiest options available for breakfast. Not only do they make you feel full and energetic, they are great for your heart too. Oats contain beta glucan, which is a soluble fibre that helps bring down cholesterol levels especially ldl (bad cholesterol) in the body. Have oatmeal for breakfast or have oatmeal bread or cookies to absorb their benefits.
  • Whole grains whether its wheat, barley, millet, pulses and even beans for that matter are good for the heart because they provide natural fibre and vitamins. They contains vitamin e, iron, magnesium and a host of anti-oxidants. Regular consumption of of whole grains reduces blood pressure too.
  • Soy is essentially soyabean curd. They are also available in the form of soya chunks and soya mince easily in the market today. Soy is an excellent healthy substitute for red meats which are high in fat, increase the bad cholesterol and saturated fats which are very bad for the heart.
  • Olive oil is one of the most healthiest oils available, whose consumption is actually good for the heart. Having olive oil as a regular part of your diet, helps ion lowering ldl (bad cholesterol) in the body. Also, olive oil contains monounsaturated fats that are good for the heart and are packed with anti-oxidants. Extra virgin olive oil contains polyphenols and gives even greater health benefits. Drizzle some olive oil in your salad as a dressing instead of that unhealthy mayonnaise and high-calories dressings, or better still substitute it for your normal cooking oil and see the difference.
  • Tomatoes is a good source of vitamins and acts as a blood purifier. Regular consumption of tomatoes is known to reduce the risk of heart diseases. Vitamin k present in tomatoes helps to prevent occurrences of hemorrhages. Eat tomatoes in the raw form in salads or sandwiches, cooked form in gravies or simply good old ketchup.
  • An apple a day, will surely keep the doctor away because they contain guercetin, a photochemical containing ant-inflammatory properties. It also helps in prevention of blood clots. Eat apples for breakfast with your cereal or eat them as a snack when you're hungry instead to pigging out on deep-fried chips.
  • Almonds when eaten in moderation is known to lower cholesterol levels in the body and heart diseases. They also contain vitamin b17, e and minerals like magnesium, iron, zinc and are a good source of monounsaturated fats.
  • Red wine when drunk in moderation can be very good for the heart because they contain a powerful antioxidant called resveratrol. Also, red wine contains flavanoids. Have red wine in moderation instead of guzzling other hard alcohol drinks that are high in sugars.

Hello Doctor! My age is 32. I have cervical pain and bp problem. I take cardace am 5 whenever my bp rises I have monitor at home. Since morning I am feeling very uneasy and restless I am feeling like lying down. I am having dizzy feeling and frequent urination. Yes lybrate-user, you should do all the standard investigations of chest X ray, abdominal sonography, blood test, Hb1aC, ECG. Liver function, renal function and BP tests to determine what is the root of the problem. It is better to know the issue before experimenting with treatments. If you have cervical pain, you need to correct your back muscle strength and bone strength with posture correction.

it means that you have got small ulcers in your stomach. avoid spicy food,drinks and take anti-ulcer agents like ppi and sucralfate. get tested for helicobactor pylori,if no relief with simple medicines

Lybrate-user, looking at the test results given following are high - triglycerides, ggt and tsh. This means you have hypothyroidism (tsh 20.5mu/l), which needs immediate treatment. Secondly high triglycerides (tgl) also needs to be checked. Ideally tgl should be less than 150 mg. High ggt value points to a problem with liver, particularly with alcohol drinking. Thanks.

1) If you are taking meal 2 times a day, you can have the same 4 times in divided doses. 2) Try to avoid gluten containing food like bread, pizza, and burger. 3) Always eat fresh food. 4) No oily & junk food. 5) You can have sprouts, salads, fruits or fruit juice in breakfast rather than bread, toast or artificial protein shake. 6) Don’t eat immediately after exercise or yoga. 7) Stretching exercises 10 minutes. 8) Brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 9) Yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes.
