Hello Lybrate-user, You need not to worry about your disease as we have got expertise in treating psoriasis. With more than 5000 patients in last 15 years we have refined ayurvedic treatment which is capable of giving quick results and is safe. As you mentioned your child is suffering from psoriasis for past 6 year. Suggesting any medicines or local application to you will not be a good idea, as I will require a complete case taking so that the root of cause is eliminated to prevent relapse. Psoriasis is the chronic, non infectious, skin disorder having silvery white scales. A normal skin cell matures in 28-30 days but psoriatic skin takes 3 to 6 days, It can strike at any age but often in 15-35 years of age. Psoriasis most commonly appears in scalp, knee, elbow, hands and feet. It rarely effect the face, The exact cause of the disease is unknown but few related causes are – Genetic history of disease stress, anxiety and mental trauma. Physical injury Digestive upset and wrong food combinations. Infection Drug allergies. The treatment should be continued till body is completely clear of patches. The relapses rate is low, if the attack is completely controlled. There should be no undue stress which affects either body or mind. A moderate war on climate frequent sunbathes before the onset of winters and visit to sulphur springs all of which are useful to bringing down the relapse ration natural sulphur bath should be taken. High protein diet in winter is advised. Psoriasis is such a detail subject that it can not be explained in few lines. There are many queries about differential diagnosis ,causes ,triggers, is it genetic, diet, curable etc. At kayakalp global skin clinic we have developed and researched Ayurvedic treatment which will solve your problem. You can send the pictures via Lybrate. I will review your case n will guide you.

Health Tips For Control Of Hair Fall Hair fall is experienced by most individuals in their lifetime. Most of the time hair fall goe unnoticed if the density of hair is good. Patients experience the hair fall though they are taking good diet and infact water intake is normal and even if they do not have any significant systemic disease. 1.Don't go for hair straightening and vigrous heat treatments if you are having hair fall. Its a myth that straightening would prevent hair fall. 2.Cover your hair when you are taking steam, sauana,or hot water bath 3.Treat your hair as a baby and pamper them. Do not use harsh shampoos and soap instead use a mild medicated shampoo and conditioner and infact wash your hair minimum twice in a week 4. Do not comb the hair when they are wet, let them dry a bit before you comb 5. You can oil the hair 1 hr. Before shampooing or washing, no neec to apply oil overnight. 6.Males And females have different pattern of hair loss and needs seperate consideration and treatment. 7. Wash your hair preferrably with luke warm water, avoid using hard water or underground water for washing them. 8.Hair Fall May expose some areas if your scalp, try to change combing pattern and do not tie your hair very tight. 9. Anti hair fall shampoos and serums may be applied after consultation with the dermatologist Hair fall or loss is a multifactorial problem where hereditary along with environmental factors and diet play an important role. Iron deficiency along with essential things like biotin, vitamin A along with other nutrients have a major role to play. Serums, tablets along with specified shampoos and conditioners can also help. Most of the time, this loss is progressive and may take 4-6 months to respond to treatment. Sooner the treatment is started better are the results. Though it's important to understand that some alopecia problems may not respond to best of the treatment modalities .So it's important to consult a good dermatologist on time .

Is Laser Treatment Safe For Tattoo Removal?

Is Laser Treatment Safe For Tattoo Removal?

The permanency of tattoos or being inked has reduced somewhat after the widespread use of laser tattoo removal. It has become a common trend among people to take off the ink which once was put in to be a permanent part of their existence. Although the success rate of the tattoo removal is quite high, there are certain inherent risks of undergoing a laser tattoo removal procedure.

Let's take a look at some of the risks:

  • Risk of infection: The process of tattoo removal may pose a risk of infection like any other procedure performed on the human body. However, infections occur in rare cases and only if proper method is not followed or the patient doesn't adhere to post-procedural prohibitions.
  • Chances of a scar: Although the colors within the tattoo may be removed, the outline of the tattoo may stay depending on how deep the punctures on the skin were, where the tattoo was put into place. This may also happen due to the type of paint used as it may also result in a permanent pigment removal in the localized area of the tattoo on the skin.
  • Hypopigmentation and Hyperpigmentation: After the removal of the tattoo, the skin and the body may react in a certain manner within certain individuals and thus result in problems with skin pigmentation. In certain cases, the color of the skin in the affected area may become paler than the rest of the surrounding skin which is known as hypopigmentation. In others, it may even become darker which is known as hyperpigmentation.
  • Side effects: If the patient already has certain pre-existing conditions then the procedure may have certain side effects. One example of this is a delay in the healing process in case the patient has diabetes.

However, laser tattoo removal has been improving over the past few years as a procedure and has come to a point where it is very safe. What might vary from patient to patient is the effectiveness of the removal of the colors within the tattoo, depending on the types of colors that were used. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.
