Women lose hair on an inherited (genetic) basis, too, but the female pattern tends to be more diffuse, with less likelihood of the crown and frontal hairline being lost. More women have underlying causes of hair loss than men. These include treatable conditions like anemia and thyroid disease and polycystic ovary syndrom. Women lose hair on an inherited (genetic) basis, too, but the female pattern tends to be more diffuse, with less likelihood of the crown and frontal hairline being lost. first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. 1. Eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. 2. Include more protein rich supplements to your diet. 3. Take phosphorus 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. 4. wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. 5. Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 6. Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) 7. Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 8. Hello- >dark spots due to pimples is nothing but the dead tissue scar remaining after improper care of the acne. Recurring pimple problems can be due to improper food habits. >try this ayurvedic treatment- 1) apply this paste over the spots and pimples to make the face clear- masoor dal powder+mustard seeds powder+chandana powder make paste by adding milk to it and thn apply it over the affected area. 2) use mahamanjisthadi kwath 2 tsp twice daily. 3) avoid non-veg diet fast foods and spicy foods. 4) increase the amount of dairy products in your meals. 5) wash you face three to four times a day.

I have gynecomastia form sixth standard and now my breast is growing bigger and bigger.

Advanced Aesthetics, M.Ch - Plastic Surgery, MS - General Surgery, MBBS
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Indore
Male breast or gynecomastia reduction. Is one of the most frequently performed office surgeries and we are the pioneers in central India since last 30 years. To the best of our knowledge no medicines or creams work to decrease the breast Size. Gynecomastia is treatable by surgery. There is no medical treatment. It is a one day out patient surgery with very gratifying results. It boosts self esteem also. The Dr. Can examine and tell you what is the problem, gynecomastia has a breast tissue and a fat component. No one wants surgery unless it is necessary. There is no medication which can give the results. Surgery is the only answer. The surgery is almost painless because there are enough medications to keep the pain under control. We need to examine the patient to know what is wanted and what can be done and to work out how much, when, where, etc It can be a day care surgery or 1 day hospital stay. There is no bed rest but 3-5 days are required for recovery and 10 days for full recovery. In 3 weeks you can go the the Gym. Gynacomastia is not a disease but excess response to hormones. If it does not bother you you don't have to get it removed. As long as the Breast size is big it is taken as Gynacomastia which could be because of More fat or More Breast tissue or a mixture of the two. Wait till 18 years of age and then if not resolved look for surgical treatment. Hot or cold weather can change the nipple size. You may need 1-2 days rest. Including the day of surgery. It is considered as an office surgery procedure.

Hello sir, I am suffering from acne problem on my face and my skin is also oily. So please give me tips to recover from it.

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Udupi
Dear Lybrate User, *Do your best to keep your hands off of your face! We all have a tendency to try and get rid of the pimple by squeezing it – make it go away quickly. Unfortunately, this does not work. As you probably have noticed in the past, it only makes it more swollen and red and it ends up taking longer to heal. Allow your skin to heal at its own pace. Patience will help eliminate scars. *Always clean your face in the morning and before bedtime. Make it a habit no matter how tired or rushed you are to start and end the day with a clean face. Those few minutes you spend removing the dirt and make-up will pay off big time.

I am a 17 years old boy and have a problem of getting blackheads near my shoulders. Is there any permanent cure for that. Please reply soon.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Use home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity.

From last two months my hairs are falling more (13 approx) per day. I think it's due to my supplement powder. I don't know whether it's due to supplement.

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)

There can be many reasons for hair fall. About 13 hair strand fall in a day is not much significant. It's normal process. Still you can stop supplement for two weeks and check whether you find any difference in hair fall.

I'm suffering from vascular ulcer from 8 months. How it is fully cure? Please advise me.

MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pathanamthitta
Vascular ulcer needs a thorough evaluation of internal venous component. For, this you vil need a doppler study and a surgeon consultation, better if you could see a vascular surgeon. Apart from this, medication vil help treat the ulcer. But unless the root cause is taken care of, it'll tend to recur.
