Hello lybrate-user drink plenty of water avoid the following: junk food/fast food milk products chocolates ice cream avoid picking or squeezing your pimples, they'll leave behind pigmentation and scaring. For pimples here is your treatment plan: 1. Clindapene gel night time only 2. Benzac gel 2.5% morning only 3. Tab. Doxy 100mg twice daily after food 4. Tab. Rantac 150mg twice daily before food 5. Use acnoff soap / acnil soap to wash your face before applying the gels. Both the gels have to be applied over full face. All medicines for minimum 1 month after the pimples subside (for acne marks) kindly use 1. Ahaglow face wash twice daily 2. Kojivit cream twice daily after using the face wash over those darker areas @night only 3. Photostable lotion full face in the morning after washing with face wash. Take care.

Sun Defense Tips for a Flawless Skin

Sun Defense Tips for a Flawless Skin

While the sun is necessary for our skin and overall health, excessive exposure often results in many skin problems. Age spots, which are actually sunspots, blemishes, pigmentation and sunburns are just a few of the sun related damages that your skin may have to face.

Sunscreen is your best friend outdoors

Sunscreen should be worn at all times whenever you go outdoors. Also if you plan to be outdoors for too long, then reapply sunscreen from time to time as you may need to replenish the protection for your skin. A sunscreen with a SPF count of 30 or above is usually preferred; however, this should completely be determined by the type of skin.

What type of damage can sun do to your skin?

Visible sun related damage to your skin could be any or all of the following:

  1. Skin which is patchy
  2. Dark spots
  3. Uneven skin tone
  4. Age spots

These are primarily manifestations of deep rooted sun related damage caused by one of the following:

  1. Superficial pigmentation: This is a pigmentation problem, which is mostly caused close to the uppermost layer of your skin i.e. the epidermis. This usually ends showing up as age spots and freckles.
  2. Deep hyper-pigmentation: As opposed to superficial pigmentation, deeper pigmentation problems occur when age related damage is the cause and there has been prolonged sun exposure. This requires more detailed treatment and thus topical products such as peels may not be as effective as the damage has been at a deeper layer of the skin.
  3. Brown patches or melasma: Often called the mask of pregnancy as it commonly afflicts expectant women, it may occur in other cases due to hormonal problems as well. It appears as darker patches on your skin within the bridge of the nose, cheeks and forehead. Sun damage aggravates this problem multi fold and thus can make a slight or small problem much worse.

Treatments against sun damage

As mentioned earlier, the best way to reverse sun damage is to use the correct SPF for your skin. A single SPF rating isn’t correct for everyone and it is best to consult a dermatologist to determine what rating would be correct for you. However, some of the other modern treatments you can rely on to reverse and prevent sun damage could be:

  1. Peels that give instant clarity by reducing pigmentation
  2. Reducing complexes such as certain liquid applicants that lessen topical pigmentation
  3. Skin rejuvenating Lasers that provide instant clarity with Laser action
  4. PRP or platelet rich plasma that is derived from the cells of your own body and then used as a serum to be injected into the skin to heighten its self- healing powers.

Local application of coconut oil or mustard oil or some soothing and calming lotion may provide relief in itching. Neem is one among the best blood purifier and detoxifier known to ayurveda. It enhances immune system and neem oil is an antiseptic in itself. Leaf extracts are used in antiseptics and can be effectively used in treating skin diseases. It destroys fungus and bacteria and is best for almost all kinds of skin diseases including redness of skin and itching.

I am 20 years old boy. I use the skinlite cream on face without doctors prescription and when I stopped usage of this cream cause fadeout on my face and when I get sunrays on my face then my face getting very black. What will I do for getting my skin colour back?

Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi, Do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night.

There are several undereye creams available with anti-pigmentation actives like kojic acid, licorice extract or alpha-hydroxy acids are ideal. Secondly, going to a dermatologist who can prescribe proper medications is ideal. Third, there are a variety of treatments like metabolic peels or treatments like undereye rescue, are the best.

Tanning usually happens in Summer, But now a days, because of Global warming, even in other seasons also, many people r getting this problem. This sun burn, Tanning is more common in eastern countries than western due to geographical pattern. If we come to Indians, people have more melanonin pigment than western people, thats why the Complexion also. Actually the melanonin pigment is helpful for people from sun heat, where the more melanonin pigment,s secretion leads people to get protected from sun Heat, But people become darker due to the change of complexion. Its for good sake in earlier days, but now a days due to more pollution, various harmful gases leakage from vehicles, factories, deforesting etc all r causing damage to Ozone layer, so that more realses of UV rays, direct exposure from that,{both UVA n UVB]all r causing averse effects on skin like not only tanning, but also Sun burn, rash, pimples, papules, various skin disorders, Even skin cancer also.

Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Lemon Juice A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.
