Hello lybrate-user, Reasons for your hair loss and thinning can range from the simple and temporary—a vitamin deficiency, protein deficiency — to the more complex, like an underlying health condition. If you have any underlying health issue then they must be corrected for successful treatment of hair loss and for their regrowth. If there is no major cause other than simple nutritional deficiency, then it is easy to treat hair loss with proper balanced diet rich in protein and vitamins. Fruits like papaya and Almond rich in vitamin E will also help. Be sure that you remain free from stress, as stress further increases the problem. Simple deficiencies can be taken care by yourself - with proper diet management and this needs no medicinal intervention. But if the problem is severe and since long time then you should take doctors opinion for further management. Avoid stress as it increases hair fall. HOMOEOPATHY medicines help to control hair fall and also helps REGROWTH of hair. You can always consult - when ever needed - on Lybrate. Take care.

Dear Shampoos and oils do not make much change because, they hardly penetrate layers of skin, where roots (live part of hair) are present. “PROTIEN RICH DIET” Veg: Dhal, soya beans, mushrooms, sprouts etc…. Non Veg: Egg whites, Fish, Chicken (non fried items) Dry fruits – (Almonds 5-6 (badam), Dates (3-4), Walnuts (1-2), Raisins (kishmish)) majority of dry fruits are good for health & hair especially. Fresh Fruits - Green grapes with seeds (please crush seeds along with grapes while consuming) and Skin of Green Apple. Vegetables - Green Leafy Vegetables.
