Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi. You can do the x-ray of your left knee (AP & Lateral - Standing) and visit nearby orthopaedic doctor. Ignoring pain knee joint can damage the joints more. It may also effect on right one. That's why you can visit as possible as earlier. So that we your treatment can be proceed further. In cold mostly knee joint pain may occur due to lack in Vit D3.

Dear lybrate-user, get x-ray or mri done to rule out any structural joint abnormalities. Meanwhile, go for ayurveda's panchkarma therapy - we have many option for you - greeva basti (specialized procedure for neck pains), localised massgae with herbal oils, localised medicated steam, pottali massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. These procedures will relax your neck muscles and give strength to your nerves and muscles of neck. Also start some yogic exercises - tadasana, dhanurasan, halasana along with these therapies. Avoid using big pillow. Do not read or use gadets while lying on bed. This will greatly help.

Sports Injury Treatment
The immediate treatment of any soft tissue injury consists of the RICER protocol - rest, ice, compression, elevation and referral. The protocol should be followed for 48-72 hours. The aim is to reduce the bleeding and damage within the joint.
The No HARM protocol should also be applied - no heat, no alcohol, no running or activity, and no massage. This will ensure decreased bleeding and swelling in the injured area.

Head holding is not attained by an infant by three months. You should be careful next time while holding the child as the child has no head control and the head tends to fall backwards. I don't think the present occurrence would lead to any future complications but be careful from next time.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Avoid junk food, oil, maida, sugar has to be cut down very much. Realise that foregoing these items are better than the pain.

Do take ift and laser therapy for pain relief for 7 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physio apply hot and cold water fomentation for thrice a day for 15 minutes duration each time regularly best wishes.

Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. It is called as peri arthritis shoulder and for that you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to restrict with the normal range of motion in the shoulder joint and there by the blood circulation gets minimized to the shoulder / arm. In few cases if the sleep is disturbed because of the shoulder pain then cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder, neck and arm.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Try the following remedy it will surely help you 1. Take 1 cup mustard oil 2. Add 10 g camphor 3. Heat the oil till the camphor dissolves completely 4. Massage lukewarm oil on the affected area this will help improve the blood circulation in the area and will reduce the inflammation and stiffness this is very helpful.

Çhest pain in young age is commonly due to costochondritis (inflammation of rib and sternal junction). This condition will respond to complete over the counter available analgesics like Ibuprofen. Since details of your symptoms are not given, it's difficult to diagnose. You should get ECG and Chest X Ray done along with blood pressure check to rule out heart attack and lung infection. Consult again for further queries.

Start strech your calf muscles of both knees and also strech your quads muscles also, then followed by strengthening. Also go in for hot water and cold water fermentation for your knee alternatively each for about 3 min and totally for about 10 min do this as frequently as possible as you can.

Dear lybrate user, first there is no disease called cervical pain. Cervical is latin name for neck & any pain in neck region can be called cervical pain. Now coming to reason for same, it can be due to structures involved in neck (cervical spine) which can be disc (disease called axial neck pain or cervical radiculopathy), joints (facetal arthritis), muscles (trapezitis) and nerves. Hence it is advised to consult specialist for thorough clinical examination and putting proper diagnosis. Do not worry even if it is cervical pain (as you pointed out), it can be treated depending on your exact status of disease.
