Appetite:
This must always be under control. Over eating is just unnecessary fat for the body and insufficient eating will cause your metabolism to slow down.

Body goals:
In your mind you must have a certain goal which you want to attain drop 10 kg's, beach body, fat stomach, bigger biceps they're all part of your body goals.

Diet:
Make sure your diet contains enough green leafy veggies, lean protein, carbohydrates and a certain amount of fat. Even the occasional dessert and cheat meal should be incorporated in your diet.

Exercise:
No matter how often you eat right, how many hours of sleep you get and whether or not you count calories, until and unless your exercise daily you'll never be able to have a totally healthy lifestyle.

Frequency:
The first step towards a long term healthy lifestyle is frequency. It takes 21 days to form a habit, after that it seems just natural. You need to be frequent and consistent to attain such long term goals.

Green tea:
It helps boost the metabolic rate, reduce the belly fat and can lower the risk of various diseases. Try to drink at least 3-5 cups of green tea every day. Plus its 0 calories, so what's the harm?

Home food:
This one's the best way to eat healthy and avoid junk food. By cooking at home you know exactly what you're eating and you're well aware of what nutrients go into your mouth. Plus it's the easiest way to maintain a balanced diet (since the balance is in your hands now)!

Inspiration:

Losing weight safely:
Who doesn't want to shed 5 kgs in a month? but you can't do this by starving yourself or going on a detox where you just eat fruits and drink water! that's totally unhealthy. It is essential to let your weight loss journey take its time, so that you have long lasting results.

Mental health:
Mental and physical health goes hand in hand. It is important that you focus on strengthening your mind as well, not only you body. Falls in metal health will eventually affect your physical health as well!

Nutrients:
From carbs to protein to minerals, each and every nutrient is essential for maintaining a healthy diet as well as to perform normal bodily functions. Eating everything in the right proportion will promote a long lasting healthy lifestyle.

Observation:

Sleep:
Sleeping for 6-8 hours every night is a requirement for proper body function! it's the time your body needs to recuperate, repair your muscles and even improves your mood. Exercise and good eating are useless without sufficient sleep.

Tips:

Yoga:
From increased flexibility to increased strength, from meditating to improving bone health; yoga has all round benefits which are only going to improve your lifestyle.

Zero dieting policy:
You cannot diet (and I mean not eating at all) to lose weight and look thin. Starving and minimal eating doesn't help you to maintain a long term healthy lifestyle. Your diet must be full of rich foods.

Migraine is a complex disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of headache, most often unilateral and in some cases associated with visual or sensory symptoms—collectively known as an aura—that arise most often before the head pain but that may occur during or afterward . Migraine is most common in women and has a strong genetic component Signs and symptoms Typical symptoms of migraine include the following: 1.Throbbing or pulsatile headache, with moderate to severe pain that intensifies with movement or physical activity 2.Unilateral and localized pain in the frontotemporal and ocular area, but the pain may be felt anywhere around the head or neck 3.Pain builds up over a period of 1-2 hours, progressing posteriorly and becoming diffuse 4.Headache lasts 4-72 hours 5.Nausea (80%) and vomiting (50%), including anorexia and food intolerance, and light-headedness 6.Sensitivity to light and sound Features of migraine aura are as follows: 1.May precede or accompany the headache phase or may occur in isolation 2.Usually develops over 5-20 minutes and lasts less than 60 minutes 3.Most commonly visual but can be sensory, motor, or any combination of these 4.Visual symptoms may be positive or negative 5.The most common positive visual phenomenon is the scintillating scotoma, an arc or band of absent vision with a shimmering or glittering zigzag border Physical findings during a migraine headache may include the following: *Cranial/cervical muscle tenderness *Horner syndrome (ie, relative miosis with 1-2 mm of ptosis on the same side as the headache) *Conjunctival injection *Tachycardia or bradycardia *Hypertension or hypotension *Hemisensory or hemiparetic neurologic deficits (ie, complicated migraine) *Adie-type pupil (ie, poor light reactivity, with near dissociation from light) Homoeopathic constitutional treatment cures this malady completely since it goes to the root of the disease and removes this tendency permanently. During pregnancy the size of vagina is increase or not? And which conditions is responsible for seizure?

The size of the vagina does not increase in pregnancy. However it may become lax due to increased blood supply. Seizures or epilepsy in pregnancy can be of different types. Mostly no obvious pathology is found. Hence treatment is with antiepileptic drugs to control and prevent fits. Occasionally they can be due to tumor, infection etc;

Exercise for muscles- inflating ballon, oil massage over affected area, hot water fomentation. Avoid oily, spicy,fast, dry,bakery food, avoid cold food, water,drinks, avoid smoking, alcohol,tobacco chewing, use cows ghee in regular diet, warm water for drinking, avoid late night works, use muffler or proper clothing over mouth while travelling. All the Best.

I am 25 year old male and have migraine. I get sever pains at times no medicine helps what can I do?

For migrain pain you can take daily in morning deshi ghee jalebi one with one glass milk. And in put two drops of cow ghee daily in norstils at bed time. Avoid fast food, fried food, cold drinks etc we are treating lots of patients with ayurveda for last many years.

I regularly have headache and I have been told by doctor that I have migraine. Wanted to know is there any treatment by which I can cure it permanently?

Start doing anulom vilom but it should be done in a very slow motion and if possible do it under observation. This will help reduce its frequency and intensity and regular practise will cure it. Take 1 drop of pure cow ghee and apply it inside your both nostril, if it dosnt work then medicated ghee has to be provided to cure it permanently.

My father is 64 years old and suffering with brain Tumour with large size at back short brain. I have consulted P.G.I. Neurosurgeon. He told me that there is risk factor in this surgery but we cannot avoid the surgery more than 2-3 months. Its complicated. I'm very much upset. please suggest me appropriate consultation. Not all brain tumor is cancer. But if it is large, it will most probably require surgery. Other non surgical options like Gamma knife and Cyber knife are available for certain types of tumours. I can give you a definite opinion if I can see all the MRI films.

It doesn't look like migraine. Might b Tension type headache. Do you worry too. Much about studies or any tension or anxiety. Should take adequate sleep. No Tension and when required you can take OTC painkiller.

Hello Sir, I'm 20 years old, I follow a proper diet plain and do some exercises. But it doesn't improve my fitness. My body is not growing in accordance to my age. Hye. Thanks for the query. You cannot blame weight or energy levels on the thyroid. If there is a genetic tendency, you will gain it only if you do not take care of your health. In fact even if you don't have a genetic history poor lifestyle can make you prone to a thyroid gland imbalance. General weakness or feeling lethargic is a common problem faced by many. Basically, weakness is “lack of physical or muscle strength and the feeling that extra effort is needed to perform daily activities”. Weakness may leave you without energy to carry out day-to-day activities, drowsy or tired, sluggish, and uninterested. Other symptoms include excessive sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep. You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. Diet is the main source of energy for our body. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well. So, to feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking.

Seek the help of a neurologist. Most medications used for post herpetic neuralgia help to prevent seizures rather than precipitate them. I have written a small book on the subject of epilepsy for the benefit of patients.

When walking on the road a stone hit my head because of speeding car and on the right side of my head above my right ear it started bleeding. Bleeding stopped same day. The bruise is not big. Now its dried but my head keeps hurting. Should I need to do a scan or mri.

If you had not had any fainting episode during the hit and no fits after that then scan is not indicated. Probably the pain is due to bruise. See a neurologist if complains persist.
