Hello, migraine - some symptoms may include: feeling dizzy or faint. Increased sensitivity to light and sound. Nausea. Pain on one side of the head. Pulsing and/or throbbing pain. Vomiting. Migraine is a form of headache. The pain is usually throbbing, pulsating and bursting in character. At times, the pain is one sided or may involve the whole head. Such pain may last for hours or even days. It is often accompanied by other symptoms like nausea or vomiting. At the same time, there is increased sensitivity to light and sound. The causes of the problem may vary from one patient to another and so will the final choice of the homoeopathic remedy. In the mean time take bc no. 12, 5 tabs twice daily and kali phos 6x, 5 tabs at bed time. Alpha ha, 15 drops with warm water twice daily. Revert me after 15 days.

I am unable to write with my hand from 3 months. If I try to write now it start shaking. Is there any solution for this problem.

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
The problem is of recent onset. At this age neuronal disease is unlikely. Hence it may be anxiety or substance use. Stop alcohol if you are abusing. If you have other features of anxiety like dry mouth and throat, excessive sweating, fast heart beat, difficulty breathing, dizziness along with inability to relax and excessive worries then consult a psychiatrist. Mri brain will be helpful to rule out any underlying pathology in brain. Treatment is possible and you will be alright. All the best.

My partner is 19 so for her I want to ask that she is showing symptoms of having migraine so I want to know what actually is migraine? And how does that affect anyone? And how to treat it? Is it worried some problem please tell me.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Migraine headaches can cause throbbing in one particular area that can vary in intensity. Nausea and sensitivity to light and sound are also common symptoms. Avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. Reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco. In general, establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. Exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming and cycling. Warm up slowly, however, because sudden, intense exercise can cause headaches. Obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.

Dear sir often when I sit on ground for long period my leg goes numb what precaution should I take.

Dear sir often when I sit on ground for long period my leg goes numb what precaution should I take.
That's a normal thing with every one. When we sit on ground for long then your nerves, muscle get compressed so you feel numbness in legs. To avoid this try to change the position, do ankle toe movement, sit with a mat to reduce the undue pressure.
