This could b either due to sensitivity due to loss of enamel surface or due to decay of tooth. Tooth decay can b treated by filling of tooth or by rct n capping of the decay is deep. Sensitivity can b reduced by using desensitizing toothpaste such as senquelf or sensodyne toothpaste by rubbing some amount of toothpaste onto your tooth surface n wait till 5 mins before rinsing it off. Get your teeth evaluated by dentist to know the cause of your problem n get treated accordingly. Regsrds.

I stuck up at home because I hve to take care of my mother in law I am feeling very depressive at home.

I stuck up at home because I hve to take care of my mother in law I am feeling very depressive at home.
The demands of caregiving can be overwhelming, especially if you feel you have little control over the situation or you’re in over your head. If the stress of caregiving is left unchecked, it can take a toll on your health, relationships, and state of mind—eventually leading to burnout.  *Tips for getting the caregiving help you need: 1. Speak up.  Don’t expect friends and family members to automatically know what you need or how you’re feeling. Be up front about what’s going on with you and the person you’re caring for. If you have concerns or thoughts about how to improve the situation, express them—even if you’re unsure how they’ll be received.  2. Spread the responsibility.  Try to get as many family members involved as possible. Even someone who lives far away can help. You may also want to divide up caregiving tasks. One person can take care of medical responsibilities, another with finances and bills, and another with groceries 3. Say “yes” when someone offers assistance. Don’t be shy about accepting help. Let them feel good about supporting you. It’s smart to have a list ready of small tasks that others could easily take care of, such as picking up groceries or driving your loved one to an appointment. *Give yourself a break: 1. Set aside a minimum of 30 minutes every day for yourself.  Do whatever you enjoy, whether it’s reading, working in the garden, tinkering in your workshop, knitting, playing with the dogs, or watching the game. 2. Find ways to pamper yourself.  Small luxuries can go a long way in relieving stress and boosting your spirits. Take a long warm bath. Buy fresh flowers for the house. Or whatever makes you feel special. 3. Make yourself laugh.  Laughter is an excellent antidote to stress—and a little goes a long way. Read a funny book, watch a comedy (avoid watching emotional serials or movies), or call a friend who makes you laugh. And whenever you can, try to find the humor in everyday situations 4. Visit with friends and share your feelings. The simple act of expressing what you’re going through can be very cathartic. If it’s difficult to leave the house, invite friends over to visit with you over coffee, tea, or dinner. It’s important that you interact with others. Sharing your feelings won’t make you a burden to others. In fact, most friends will be flattered that you trust them enough to confide in them, and it will only strengthen your bond. Mostof the people have to go through this. Have patience and faith. Nothing lasts forever. This too shall pass. Pray. Prayer gives lot of strength. Take care.

Diet and lack of exercise are the two most important factors that contribute to obesity. While the modern day diet is becoming more and more full of fats, sweets and empty calories, it is becoming devoid of nutritious vitamins and minerals. The fibre content is also decreasing. One tends to stack up on junk food in an effort to take a quick bite while on the go. At the same time, physical activity is on the decline. One has increased access to vehicles and the need to walk or cycle is almost not present. Even for commuting short distances, one uses cars or two wheelers. All these things are readily contributing to this epidemic of obesity. When it comes to getting rid of the excess fat, one needs to work conscientiously and consistently on both the counts mentioned above. One’s diet has to be altered so as to include more and more natural fruits and vegetables. Processed food and junk food should be cut down to the minimum. A daily exercise regimen needs to be adopted. Exercising for 30-40 minutes for a minimum of 5 days a week is necessary. Various exercise to reduce belly fat are - Crunches Twist Crunches Side Crunch Reverse Crunches Vertical Leg Crunch Bicycle Exercise Twisting Rolling Plank Exercise The Stomach Vacuum Captain’s Chair Bending Side To Side Walking Running Jogging Cycling Swimming Homeopathy helps by regulating the metabolic system of the individual. There are more than 100 medicines listed in the Homeopathic literature for obesity. It is a tough job selecting the right medicine for a particular patient. One needs to take into account a lot of things before selecting the right course of treatment. These things relate to other symptoms or conditions that may be present or the person may be suffering from. A lot of importance is given to the reason, if any can be found that stimulated weight gain. This reason could be a particular illness or an event or some psychological setback in life. The general reaction of the person to extremes of temperature, his or heating habits also need to be taken into account. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure.

Apart from all the medication and treatment start doing regular exercise and take adequate nutritious diet including fruits, vegetable and dairy products.

Excessive Noise At Workplace - Why Is It Bad For Your Heart?

MBBS, MRCP (UK), PG Diploma In Lipid Management, MBA (Healthcare)
Cardiologist, Bangalore
Excessive Noise At Workplace - Why Is It Bad For Your Heart?

There are many different types of noise one may hear in an office. This includes people talking, phones ringing, construction sounds, etc. Complaining about noise in the office can seem silly. However, continuous exposure to noise can affect a person’s mental and physical health. It is not good for the company wither as working in noisy conditions can affect productivity in terms of the worker’s ability to concentrate on tasks and the quality of work being done.

Noise and Health Risks
When talking about noise, the first health effect that comes to mind is a loss of hearing. In many cases, prolonged exposure to noisy conditions can permanently damage hearing. Noise also affects blood pressure levels and can cause sudden spikes. Noise also affects a person’s cholesterol levels. In addition, it can make simple tasks stressful. It can also lead to mental issues such as moodiness, depression and anxiety.

Noise and the Heart
Working in a noisy atmosphere can double a person’s risk of suffering from heart disease. High cholesterol levels caused by noise can thicken artery walls and reduce the amount of space available for blood flow. When combined with high blood pressure, this can have a disastrous effect. It can lead to the rupturing of blood vessels or can cause blood clots to be formed. Studies have also shown that people exposed to loud noise at work are more likely to smoke. This in turn further increases the risk of heart disease.

Protecting the Heart
Some noises in an office can be controlled while others cannot. For example, an office may set a rule for all phones to ring at a low volume. However, nothing much can be done about construction sounds. Hence, it is important to be proactive in protecting yourself from the noise. An easy way to do this is by wearing protective hearing devices such as earmuffs or earplugs. When playing music through such devices, it is important to regulate the volume it is being played at. One should also not listen to music continuously through these devices. Devices that create white noise can also be beneficial. For example, the humming of a fan can block out other unwanted sounds. Workers experiencing hearing loss should consult a doctor at the earliest. This can help prevent further loss of hearing and lower stress levels that in turn keep the heart healthier. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
