Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. Fear and anxiety are part of life. You may feel anxious before you take a test or walk down a dark street. This kind of anxiety is useful - it can make you more alert or careful. It usually ends soon after you are out of the situation that caused it.   When you're feeling anxious or stressed, these strategies will help you cope: Jog, walk, bike, or dance three to five times a week for 30 minutes. Set small daily goals and aim for daily consistency rather than perfect workouts. It's better to walk every day for 15-20 minutes than to wait until the weekend for a three-hour fitness marathon. Lots of scientific data suggests that frequency is most important.  Find forms of exercise that are fun or enjoyable. Extroverted people often like classes and group activities. People who are more introverted often prefer solo pursuits. Distract yourself with an iPod or other portable media player to download audiobooks, podcasts, or music. Many people find it’s more fun to exercise while listening to something they enjoy. Recruit an “exercise buddy.” It's often easier to stick to your exercise routine when you have to stay committed to a friend, partner, or colleague. Be patient when you start a new exercise program. Most sedentary people require about four to eight weeks to feel coordinated and sufficiently in shape so that exercise feels easier. For the biggest benefits of exercise, try to include at least 2½ hours of moderate-intensity physical activity (e.g. Brisk walking) each week, 1¼ hours of a vigorous-intensity activity (such as jogging or swimming laps), or a combination of the two.

My blood pressure since last week is above 130/90. Hasn't came down to 120/80 but has extended till 150/102. I am not under any hypertensive medication. Using Acimol-Mr for cervical pains. How can this be managed? I am hesitant to start antihypertensive therapy which is long term. Can any ayurvedic drug or short drug therapy be used?

I am having pain in middle chest when I drink water or eat any thing or food etc and also feeling weakness in my body.
You might be having gastric disorder. Please try to change the diet habits and drink a glass of water an hour before every meal. Have light homemade food and avoid all types of junk food, processed or packaged food including cold drinks. Eat in small portions with seasonal fruits and vegetables everyday. Start exercising everyday - walking can be ideal to begin with. Learn Yoga and pranayam from an expert teacher and do it consistently everday. You can also use Homeopathy if you do not feel much change after following the above mentioned health tips. You can contact me for a private consultation.
