Dry cough is generally allergic cough. Therefore generally antibiotic is not required, steam inhalation is effective and some bronchodilator cough syrup is enough.

1) 140/90 is pretty normal as per latest hypertension guidelines in a normal adult of your age. 2) Occassional increase from this level, will not be termed hypertension unless it is sustained persistently. 3) You seem to be more health anxious, this anxiety will leads to anxiety induced increase of blood pressure, so it is better if instead of being anxious or panicking you relax. 4) Your irregular gear rate could be due to faulty machine reading. Since your Ecg has been normal. 5) At your age first line of management is starting to live a healthy lifestyle rather than taking medicines. Exercise for 40 mins daily, quit drinking and smoking, eat a healthy diet while avoiding extra salt of high salty food. IF despite these measures your BP remains above 140/90 mmHg then start with low dose medication. 6) To relieve your anxiety you can get a 24 Hr Holter and 24 hr Ambulatory BP monitoring if they are normal then you can be reassured to not worry.

Dear lybrate-user, Cholesterol at 218 is absolutely fine. It does not require any medication. You have to keep healthy lifestyle, proper exercise, diet, stress free life to stay healthy. The pain in your chest is likely to be anatomical. Do some shoulder, arm, neck rotation, extension and strengthening exercises gently. It should solve the problem regards.

Dear lybrate user, only home remedies may not be sufficient enough to lower your blood sugar level. If home remedies could lower the blood sugar then there won't be such worldwide research on diabetes. Home remedies help to confine your blood sugar level to a certain extent. But if you want to lower your blood sugar level then you will surely need some medicine. We need detailed history to prescribe you suitable medicine. *Maintain healthy body weight by doing regular exercise like yoga. *Eat small amount of foods. Do not skip meals. *Take 5-6 times foods with small amount. *Avoid fast foods. No sugar, cola, soft drinks etc. *Drink plenty of water specially before meals. No underground vegetables etc. * Extra fish, lean meat etc will help you. *Avoid smoking, alcohol
