If you are bleeding from longer time please get your haemoglobin tested first. Also get her examined by a gynecologist and do ultrasound. Heavy menses can be treated with 3 months course of medicines.

I have lot of pressure from home front. My wife's habit to follow all types of religious stuffs i.E. Vast, astrology, normal baba, ramdev baba. 24 hrs we use to have same discussion on rahu, ketu shukr man gal. I have no intention to stop her but there has to be limit for all these things. When there is no positive responses on discussion on these topics from my side the chapter from Mahabharat starts at home. Really fed up.

If you don't respond positively, then how do you respond to her? She can pursue any interest of her choice. And so can you. You just need to talk to her assertively that her hobby is not something that you understand, so cannot participate in discussions. Find some legitimate excuse to move out of that situation, but don't forget to show and tell her that she's still a likeable person and you enjoy her company. Offer other activities that you both can do together. In Mahabharata, 2 people are needed to fight. If you don't fight then she will have to back of. Remember Gandhiji and talk sweetly and firmly with your wife. Soon she will leave you to do your own things in peace. Take care.

I'm 26 yrs old and I used to smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day for past 5 yrs. What will be the best method to quit smoking and how much posibillity for a cancer?

You have been smoking quite a bit for 5 years. It is not possible to say whether you will get cancer from this indulgence because there are too many vagaries that can give one the disease and not another. So do not worry about that but do quit and live a healthy life. It is never too late to change. The habit can be very difficult to halt because of the many conditions attached to smoking. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here?s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world ? you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. All the damage you incurred earlier because of the smoking can be reverted back to normal in quick time.

If you do not want to take any medicine then you must maintain a healthy lifestyle. Take protein and zinc rich food. Garlic, spinich, soyabean, walnuts, almonds helps improving sexual power. your blood glucose levels are well under control ..kudos for that...yes these medicines are appropriate for u if these sugar levels are on this treatment..if these medicines are just prescribed now..then these are a bit heavy ones and not required as of now...keep a check on b.sugar regularly to avoid hypoglycemia..let me know your past treatment status

Hye. Thank you for your query. Just taking steroids don't help gaining flat abs. Firstly you need to work on reducing the fats and then developing muscle mass. The anabolic steroids abused by many are synthetic versions of testosterone, a male hormone. Both men and women naturally produce testosterone. But like all hormones -- which regulate the body's most basic functions -- throwing one's testosterone out of balance can have wide-ranging consequences. Anabolic steroids have many side effects because testosterone, which they mimic, has many effects in the body. The long list if side effects from anabolic steroids include: shrinking of testicles, breast enlargement (gynecomastia), low sperm count, increased hair growth, deeper voice and reduced breast size in women, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, high cholesterol, rage, violence and aggression. Getting flat wash board abs is all about eating right. Plan a routine keeping the following points in mind. Calories should not be so less that your metabolism goes low. Your needs will increase or decrease depending on your work out. Since you are going to work out at least 5 days a week your protein needs are going to be high to help prevent muscle loss. Eggs, chiken, nuts, airy, pulses, soy, dry fruits etc. Are all protein sources. To include complex carbohydrate through whole grains vegetables and pulses. Don't go too low on carbs as they are energy sources for our body especially on hard work out days. Include healthy fats in your main meals through nuts, fatty fish coconut oil or ghee or olive oil limit it to about 15% of your daily calorie needs. Avoid salty junk foods. Drink about 3 liters of water per day. Sleep well.

STRESS AND WORRY are major factors in causing hair fall. Unless it is answered, it is very difficult. In stead of bothering about hair fall, concentrate on what is required out of you at this age. You will excel there and your problem will stop by itself. Do not go for any anti anxiety drugs. Avoid all medicines and shampoos. General guidelines: Take utmost care to get good sleep; if stressed out knowingly or suffering unknowingly, seek help to address the issue. Total darkness in the bed room is very essential for good sleep. No night lamps even. When sleep is disturbed, hair fall starts. Don't go for any so called branded hair oil but use genuine, virgin coconut oil only. Avoid all shampoos. Apply virgin coconut oil freely, let it soak it for 20 minutes, Apply Shikakai or mild, very diluted shampoo lightly. Not more than once a week. Continue and wait for 3 months to see good results Food: Panneer, cheese, eggs, chicken, fish, nuts (your diet appears tobe deficit in proteins)
