I have stone in my kidney and it is approximately 5.7 mm and to3.4 mm stone in both kidneys, what is the natural way...
Tips for removing kidney stones: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate and must. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. 10. Take 2 tsf neeri syrup thrice daily for 15 days. 11. Follow up after 15 days is must.

I am 25 year old and I am having fisher inside my anus. I never had such problems before, but since August, I am having some problems. In the month of August, I had severe pain while in toilet, and we thought to show to an ayurvedic doctor. He told us that I am having fisher, and gave few medicines, which made my toilet very loose, and I did not had any pain further. Then afterwards I started taking trifla tablets on regular basis, 2 after lunch and 2 after dinner, and ate one apple in morning. In month of September I had an abscess between penis and anus, which had over 4-5 seeds inside it. I consulted a doctor and I was under his treatment for next 5 days, and gave injections also on each day. Then till January, all was smooth. But there was some pain of fisher or a day or 2 in a month, which was bearable pain. Once again on 8th January I again had abscess on left knee, which I went on treatment on 12th January. Doctor made slight cut and removed pus and seed and it took approximately 15 days to heal. It is healed nearly till today, take 2-3 days more to be perfectly fit. Currently once again I am having fisher pain during toilet since 4 days, and it is extremely unbearable. I have stopped taking trifla and apple since 12th January. Yesterday I visited piles specialist doctor, and he said that operation is required, as the passage is very narrow to let the toilet move out. He said surgery is required and in surgery, he will increase the passage area by cutting the anus lining. Shall I go for surgery?

MS - General Surgery
General Surgeon, Kanpur
If you have fissure take plenty of fluids orally and High fibre diet to keep stool soft even you can take syp cremaffin 3 to 6 tsf hs, you may use ointment lox anally before defecation and ointment nitrogesic qid, surgery may be needed if it is not healed by medicines and LIS to be done.

What Leads to an Enlarged Prostate?

What Leads to an Enlarged Prostate?

Causes and symptoms of enlarged prostate

The problem of an enlarged prostate or benign prostate hyperplasia is a very common occurrence as you grow older. It's known to strike men above the age of 50, with more than 50% of men after the age of 60, having this complaint.

Causes of enlarged prostate

A non-cancerous condition, enlarged prostate makes the passing of urine from the bladder through the urethra difficult. The multiplication of the prostate cells causes an enlargement of the gland, leading to a buildup of pressure on the urethra, affecting the discharge of urine from the body. The narrowing of the urethra, due to this benign condition, forces the bladder to contract more vigorously so as to push urine out of the body.

As time passes, the muscles of the bladder get significantly affected, causing them to become extremely sensitive, thicker and stronger. As a consequence, the bladder begins to contract, even if the amount of urine in the organ is negligible, causing episodes of frequent urination. Gradually, the bladder fails to completely empty itself of urine due to the constriction of the urethra. This can give rise to a number of health problems including the formation of bladder stones, urinary tract infections, blood in the urine and so on.

How can you identify the signs of the condition?

Signs of enlarged prostate are very easy to identify and include:

- A slow or weak urine flow
- Difficulty in initiating urination
- Instances of frequent urination
- A feeling of not completely emptying one's bladder
- Frequent urination during the night
- Exerting a lot to urinate
- Instances of dribbling
- Urgency to pass urine
- A feeling of urinating again minutes after doing so
- Urination that starts and stops

I am 37 years old female with rectal bleeding for past few weeks, now I feel extremely fatigued with day time sleepiness. There is mild tremor on my hands and headache. I have a few personal problems that I know I am stressing out on for the past days. Please suggest me.

I am 37 years old female with rectal bleeding for past few weeks, now I feel extremely fatigued with day time sleepin...
Dear lybrate-user, It seems you are suffering from piles and you have lost much blood which is making you fatigue, sleepiness, tremors in your hand and headache. If your palms seem pale and your eyes are also pale then definitely you have lost your blood and due to low blood you are suffering from complains. ADV: -Take sitz bath: take hot water in tub and soak the painful part in water after every stool. -Don’t delay to pass the stool. -Have salads so you pass soft stool and suffer with less pain. -Drink plenty of water. Do not allow piles to make your life miserable. Switch over to the homeopathic treatments and enjoy a stress free life.

I am a 37 year old male, vegetarian, exercise a few times a week, I drink a few cups of coffee everyday and water regularly as well. I often get hard feces and have some minor anal hemorrhage and itches down there. How can this be, if I eat lots of fiber and drink the water I need?

Respected lybrate-user hi good to take more liq & fiber. Other causes of constipation are also there dear. Avoid oily spicy nonveg. Have more green leafy veg fruits curd. Avoid smoking if doing. Sitz bath (sitting in leuk warm water for 10-10 min mor & eve) is more effective. Consult surgeon if problem after this thanks regards.
