Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Left leg - knee to toe - some weird, creepy, crawling sensation is there through out the day for about a year. When I am about to sleep it is more so I tend to move my leg due to uneasiness. It affects the way I walk. I was asked to take a dopler test on both legs and a nerve conduction study. On seeing the result doctor say that the results are within the allowable limits and have given me multi-vitamin tablet. My problem still persists. Need some insight into this. I am not a diabetic, and my sugar levels are normal.

Hi. I believe you might have a restless leg syndrome. Restless legs syndrome (rls) is a neurological disorder characterized by throbbing, pulling, creeping, or other unpleasant sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable, and sometimes overwhelming, urge to move them. Symptoms occur primarily at night when a person is relaxing or at rest and can increase in severity during the night. Moving the legs relieves the discomfort. Often called paresthesias (abnormal sensations) or dysesthesias (unpleasant abnormal sensations), the sensations range in severity from uncomfortable to irritating to painful. Certain lifestyle changes and activities that may reduce mild to moderate symptoms include decreased use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco; supplements to correct deficiencies ; changing or maintaining a regular sleep pattern; a program of moderate exercise like walking for 30 mins; and massaging the legs, taking a hot bath, or using a heating pad or ice pack try all dis but strongly suggest you to check with neurologist to get proper diagnosis and he may prescribe some medicine.

Hello lybrate-user possible that you are developing tennis elbow. The main treatment is pain killers and anti inflammatory medicines along with physiotherapy you can also use a tennis elbow support. If this dosent help then you will have to go for a local steroid injection over the tender site.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

It might be because of bad posture while standing walking and sitting try to correct your posture, and you can use hot fermentation that will reduce your pain. For that dip a towel in to hot water squeez it and wrap around your lower back.

I have pain in shoulder joint on both sides. I feel weakness and loss of strength in shoulders while normal working and sitting idle. Looking for proper solution to this. I went to couple of doctors and they prescribes pain killers and volini to massage. I had all tests done including MRI and X-rays.

Whats your age/sex? from how long have you been suffering from this pain? Are you diabetic? MRI and x-ray is normal? you should see some good physiotherapist who will evaluate your shoulder movements and also any muscle tightness or stiffness in the shoulder...ac

Skin color is determined by a pigment called melanin produced naturally by our body and increased production occurs when exposed to sunlight for long periods, and hence any good sunscreen with special >30 to be used when venturing outdoors and limiting direct.

Hi Sir I am 25 years old male I was feeling easily tired and dizziness and numbness in my feet, I went for medical examination the reports revealed I was suffering with thyroid Total T3= 1.68 total t4= 7.50 Tsh=6.09 I was suggest to take thyrox 25 mg I ha ve taken the medicine since last two month and after test my tsh was 27.05 I was suggested to take thyronorm 75 still after a month I don't see any improvement my depression levels are becoming worse getting easily angry feeling tired and drowsy kindly help me.

Mr. lybrate-user, If your latest TSH level is 27.07 mU/L, then the current dosage of thyroxine is not adequate. It has to be increased. Plus you will have to take a restricted diet, that matches your caloric needs based on ideal body weight and extent of daily physical activity. Plus please do a blood glucose (fasting, PP) check up and come back with the results. Thanks.

what is the severity of pain? is the pain continous or intermittent? is it pulsating? since pain is a complex phenomenon, there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. Apart from pain killers, there is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. I would like to tell you that if you properly do exercises and running, use good quality shoes and change them frequently as advised by guidelines, run on proper surfaces and not on tar roads, then your joints will get in good shape.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold). Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping-

Sir, seems you r suffering with degenarative osteoarthritis of knees. You need radiological eavluation like x rays of both knee joints (standing) ap. Lat pl avoid indian toilet. Stair claimbing.
