You are having tachycardia while you are trying to sleep due to which you are worried too much. You may be a type a type of personality. Too ambitious and aggressive type one way it is not bad. You may be having stress and strain and anxiety neurosis. Duebtonwhich you are having all these symptoms. So try to think rationally. Go slow and have some meditation. If possible. Go morning walk followed by free hand exercises. And take plenty of homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. And you may get your blood pressure checked up preferably basal bp. It will be ok.

I have a migraine problem in right brain. Please tell me ayurvedic remedies. I am not sure that it's a migraine problem. May be it some type of symptom also of that. It pained at noon time. It is from 4 years.

I think you want to say Alcoholic Cirrhosis, right? how old are you and since how long you are consuming alcohol, what is your drinking pattern, how many times in a day, in a week. Did you ever have craving for it, did you ever try to quit, what problems do you face if you do not drink for few days? Please send image of your USG abdomen report.

I am 34 years old I felt so tired and foot feeling numbness. Fingers joints pain early morning cough and it's seems like sticky jelly substance. Legs are getting so tired and feel uneasy. I use to smoke once in a day and alcohol once in a week. Please let me know what check up I have to do.

Hello Lybrate user, Pain killers is not the solution for Migraine always. Check what is the triggering factor of your problem and try to avoid it. 1. Check with stress is causing migraine then you will have to manage your lifestyle. 2. Long term Acidity can also be a cause for migraine so you have to take care of it using ayurvedic medicines for best results. 3. Increase in eye problem i.e. check whether you eye no. has increased if you have specks. 4. Avoid oily, spicy and salty food in your diet. Avoid heavy to digest items like nonveg, bread, pizza etc. 5. Drink less tea if you drink it too much. 6. In you food add 1/2 tsp of ghee like in on your roti or in rice. 7. Do not consume alcohol/ carbonated drinks as they tend to increase migraine in long run. 8. Add amount of almonds, whole grain seeds, fruits n vegetables in diet. Stay hydrated.  9. Due to excess anger and stress migraine aggravates in many patient.  10. Don't stay awake late night or sleep in day time as both increase stress in body. 11. It is very difficult to say which one is the best because different pain killer acts differently in each individual normally it can be paracetamol calpol, brofen ibubrufen or combiflam main reason of aggravating factor is stress and strain anxiety neurosis, one has to avoid that even one has to change his or her lifestyle.

I am 71 yrs 5ft 8 in weight 90 kg am suffering from diabetic for last 5 yrs lately I find that sole of both my feet become numb when I get up in the morning and also my right heel is very painful please advice what I should do ?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your symptoms of numbness could be due to long standing diabetes in your case although other causes cannot be ruled out especially issues in lower back region. I would advise you for a very strict sugar control, you can take medications like pregabalin or gabapentin in low doses initially, take vitamin b12 and adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation. Also heel pain could be due to inflammation in your heel fascia. Treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy. I will observe you with this management for around 2 weeks and then we will see if we require any investigations in your case. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Basically you have to reduce weight to at least 45 kgs regarding numbness due to nerve deficit or check whether your diabetic leading to poor circulation when sitting folded or sitting on the floor condition called diabetic neuropathy and also have to rule out of any vascular lesions etc,

first of all ensure that he is taking them daily..it is highly unlikely that on regular medications with two antiepileptics , one still develop seizures..even one missed dose can be bothersome...what was his EEG reports and CT scan reports (u must have got them done)as there are various infective causes of seizures which are treatable with specific medications.. tablet phenobarbitone has good results where both these above medications fail...but it has to be prescribed by your consulting doctor as its not OTC drug...

Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body!
