I am 51 year, male, having diebetics for the last 10 years, I also have reflex problem and burning sensetion in the night, I take medicine for dieabatics and some times omez for aciditity and reflex off late I have been having omiting in the nights, and early in the morning while brushing my teeth, in the nights I wake up for urination, and urine stinks too much, suger level are 120 on fasting and 185 on ppbs, ecg is ok and I keep getting pain in chest.

You are suffering from vidagdhajeerna. The best treatment is langhana. Be exclusively on diet of boiled & salted moong for 5 days. Nothing else. Have mix of saunf/ jeera & ajwain after every meal. Drink water boiled with dhaniya seeds. Revert & consult privately after 5 days for further guidance.

If the pain is in you abdomen, you might be suffering from gastritis or gastric ulcer. It is advisable to consult a doctor. 1. Have small frequent meals at regular intervals instead of 3-4 large ones. Have protein rich snacks like lassi/buttermilk/curd/dhokla/khandvi/steamed chicken momo/whole egg/besan chila in between main meals. 2. Drink 3 litres water daily but not with meal. 3. Avoid having tea, coffee, cold drinks, alcohol, smoking, tobacco, painkillers, fried or spicy food.

Vitamin b12 mostly obtained from animal food sources. 1. Take meat/egg/ fish, poultry, 2. Vegetarian sources of b12 are diary sources like milk, milk product, butter milk, yogurt. 3. Vegetarians have to take b12 supplement.

Healthy Heart - 5 Must-do Lifestyle Changes For It!

Lifestyle is one of the best defences against heart disease. All you need to do to maintain good heart health is to just make simple but significant changes to your lifestyle. By doing so, you end up minimising the risk factors associated with heart disease such as coronary artery disease.

The lifestyle changes that you must make for a healthy heart are:

1. Be physically active - Research by Harvard University shows that watching television for 2 hours a day can increase your chances of developing heart disease by 15%. But if you exercise or indulge in some kind of physical activity for about 30 minutes every day, you can significantly improve the health of your heart as any kind of physical activity improves your blood circulation as well as blood pressure.

2. Maintain a healthy body weight - Having a low body weight or a high one can also put you at risk of getting heart disease. For a good heart health, you need to protect it from fatigue and damage. By keeping your weight at an optimum level, your blood circulation, as well as body fluids, end up working efficiently, protecting your heart from unnecessary strain.

3. Have a balanced diet - Foods that are low in calories but high in fibre and nutrients are what your heart needs to stay healthy. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for your query. I have gone through the details, and understand your concern. Looking at his BP and blood glucose, both are fairly high. Ideally BP should be maintained between 130 to 140 /70 to 80 mmHg. Similarly blood glucose should be :FBG :<100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c %<7. Since there is no mention of other relevant glucose values, no comment can be made. As regards the bleeding from nose, this can happen some times if BP is too high. Or some times there could be other reasons too. He should be on proper medication so that both blood glucose and BP are maintained with in specified range. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no prescriptions. Therefore, no drugs change can be recommended. If you have any doubts please come in a private conversation with all the necessary details, then I will be able to help. Thanks.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area.

Dear lybrate user, Anger and aggression are emotions. Anger comes when you become irritated. Irritation happens when you don't like something, or when something is repeated. As anger is an emotion, it should be vent out. You should be able to throw anger out instead of controlling it. But more perfect will be, know the frustrating situations and stop being emotional. If practiced properly, you will not get irritated at those circumstances at all. Those techniques are much easier to understand. Take care.
