I am nikita and I got heavy flows after 3 days, my periods got finished . Today is sixth consecutive day I am having bleeding. Is this a major problem?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi, heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, which is also called menorrhagia, can occur to any menstruating woman. It can also cause serious health problem such as iron-deficiency anemia. In order to stop heavy menstrual bleeding naturally, you can try different types of home remedies and making changes to your diet. Home remedies: -cinnamon, which you may use in cooking or baking, is also a well-known spice that may provide relief from heavy bleeding. Incorporate more cinnamon into your diet or take it alone to help calm the uterus and prevent heavy bleeding. Try mixing one cup of hot water with three teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and take it every thirty minutes during your menstrual cycle. -wash 2 cups of raspberry leaves and bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Strain and enjoy one cup up to three times a day. -placing an ice pack on your abdomen may reduce bleeding (no more than 20 minutes). It may also alleviate pain and swelling. -choose healthy and nutrient dense foods such as proteins including nuts, iron rich foods like dark green leafy vegetables, and dairy products like yogurt or cheese for calcium. Green beans contain high fiber and are enriched with vitamin b, which prevents abdominal cramps. Choose breads and grains that are fortified with iron, vitamin b, fiber and protein. Eat vegetables such as broccoli, kale, sweet potatoes, and spinach to help you get iron, calcium, and vitamin c. Eat fruits such as oranges and strawberries for vitamin c. Prunes and dried apricots are a good source of iron. Medication: take hamamelis q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water every 2 hrly during the menses. And for rest of the days, take five phos. And alfaalfa tonic. Take them thrice daily for 4 weeks and revert me back. Even after taking these medication, if there is no relief in the sufferings, need to get an ultrasound (pelvis) done.

My wife is 28 years old she hate to do regular sex activists. There is any problem?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda, Gulbarga
Still, talking about sex and working on your sexual relationship can be difficult, even when you've enjoyed great intimacy. These ideas can help. ? Pick neutral territory for a conversation. To help make it easier for your partner to open up, don't approach the topic in bed. Paget advised keeping the conversation simple -- ask just a few questions so your partner doesn?t feel overwhelmed or attacked. Start by telling your partner you enjoy having sex with her and ask what you can do to help her enjoy it more. ? Ask about any stress or other concerns that might be keeping her from feeling pleasure. As experts at Harvard Medical School point out, physical desire can be enough to lead to arousal, sex, and orgasm in men, but the sexual response for women is often more complex. Her motivation for sex may be to feel close to you. If an emotional connection is lacking because of relationship concerns, mental health problems, stress, or some other reason, her desire for sex may lessen. ? Be an unselfish lover. Are you having sex in ways she wants or that keep her interested, asked Paget? Don?t focus solely on your own needs. Encourage her to tell you what feels good to her. Maybe there's something about your sex life that makes her uncomfortable or there's something she wants to try but is embarrassed to mention. Be open to what she has to say. ? Help her relax. If your partner says sex is painful, discuss ways you can help her relax before sex. Perhaps draw a warm bath for her before meeting in the bedroom. Using lubricants and trying different positions may also help. ? Let her know you find her attractive. Show her that she's desirable. Make it a point to compliment her more often -- not just during foreplay, but also at random times when you aren?t trying to initiate sex. ? Find other ways to show support. If you know that she's under a great deal of stress at work, take on some of her household responsibilities so that you can enjoy more time just being together.

Hi doctor. I am suffering from irregular periods since menarche it been like I am menstruating for once in 9months or more or like menstruating under the stimulation of hormonal pills can you help me?

BHMS, MD - Alternate Medicine
Homeopath, Nagpur
In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

My first time having sex I was nervous and stressed out. I took the pill that same day about 2hours after the incident. After I took it I wasn't as nervous as I was before but i've spent so much time thinking about it. Does stress and overthinking affect the possibilities of becoming pregnant?

M.D. homoeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Noida
No, it does not, but too much stress is not good for health. As you have already taken the pill within 72 hours there are minimal chances of you getting pregnant, so now relax and calm your yourself down.

General Physician,
An hCG level of less than 5 mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy, and anything above 25mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy. The hCG hormone is measured in milli-international units per milliliter (mIU/ml). .As per the test she is pregnant.

M.B.B.S, Post Graduate Diploma In Maternal & Child Health
Gynaecologist, Bokaro
A pregnant lady needs extra calories to take adequate care of her own health and health of her baby. It is important to eat right because if excess weight is gained, it can create a lot of problems in delivery and otherwise. Dry fruits, pulse, fresh fruits and milk. She can take all that she likes. She should not take too much of oil, butter etc. The gain in weight should be 1.5-2 kg every month. If she likes she can contact me for more details and advice.

Do you find yourself having a runny itchy nose, watery eyes and severe sneezing episodes at this time of the year? if so, you may be suffering from allergic rhinitis and also you are among the estimated 25 percent of the indians affected by one or the other form of allergies. Homoeopathic treatment of allergic rhinitis offers a better promise. Many such allergies can be treated permanently.

Problem may be due to hormonal injection that you are taking for follicular study. Due to injection there is changes in hormones that maintain hormonal balance for follicles. So don't worry it will recover itself.

Backaches and headaches are common in the early stages of pregnancy due to a sudden rise of hormones in our body. A dull backache can be experienced throughout the pregnancy.
