Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Yes it can be due to lack of calcium and vitamin d and b12, for which you will require prescription medications and also there are many home remedies for calcium,

Hello, Plastic bottles are probably the most hazardous to health. Degradation of plastic with the help of sunlight can lead to release of harmful toxins. Use thermos, steel bottles instead.

Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. Dear friend, don't worry start taking balance diet and a lot of water daily. Make a time table for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Add some salad, fruits and milk in your daily diet. Start some physical exercise to digest all this. Also take proper sleep. Try to avoid stress as possible. Gradually increase the diet and exercise. There are medicines also to promote growth. Tell your progress after one month to guide further or you can ask if any questions.

Don't worry. Took physiotheraphy for cervical spondylosis. And avoid pillow while lyinig. Use collar for neck frequently. And take tab. Shelcall d3 one a day for a month with the advice of your cardio doc.

Hello lybrate-user some body types do not gain or lose weight. It also depends on your genetic factors. Still we can try by adopting a balanced diet and adding some ghee butter nuts potatoes egg to your daily diet. Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

I have pain in my legs over 7 days ago what kind of medicine or excersice I have to do?

Numbness in leg & feet is due to pressure on the nerves. This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello. Such pain can be due to gout. You should test blood uric acid levels- fasting and random. It is treatable if the cause is found. See a doctor.

Hello, For weight gain, you need to be patient. Include eggs, dairy,beans, soy and its products, lean chicken and fish in the diet. Strength or weight training exercises do help.
