Hi sir, Me and my girlfriend are going to have intercourse this saturday for the first time. And we both are virgins. The thing is, she is so scared about the pain. I tried to say in many ways, yet she is scared. Could you please suggest me how to approach and make our first experience successful.

It can happen fir the first time. Try to build her confidence. Try using enough lubrication. If these do not work, consult doctor.

I got some red rashes on inner side of my penis .when ever I have sex with or wid out protections. Its pain ful and irritating.

MBBS, Diploma in Public Health ( Preventive and Social Medicine)

Dear lybrate-user, How long it's been there? It could could be Infectious either a simple fungal or other STDs and source of infection may be from either of the partners. It could be secondary to vigorous sexual activity too. Need to see it personally then only, it can be decided and treated accordingly. So consult to your family physician first or me. Till then importantly use condom to protect each other and be gentle in sexual activity. All the best.

Me and my partner want to have sex without protection because we enjoy more without using condoms but scared of getting pregnant any other option available.

Ocps are one more option. You wife can take oral contraceptive pills. But condoms are the best in terms of safety and no side effects. Ocps have side effects associated with it.

Effects Of Skipping Breakfast!

M.Sc - Dietitics / Nutrition

Effects Of Skipping Breakfast!

Many of us tend to hurriedly rush to our workplace without having our important meal of the day. Yes, you got it right, the king of meals breakfast.

The meaning of breakfast is to end the overnight fasting. The body tries to repair and regenerate our cells and tissues when we are asleep.
After the process, the body tends to accumulate various by products that essentially needs to be thrown off the body. When you skip or delay your break fast, the toxins tends to build up in the body. Secondly, when there is no food source to provide energy, body tends to use the stored nutrients in the body very slowly and the body function slows down.

Later, when you have your brunch with loads of foods at a time, the body tends to accumulate it hoping to use it in times of crisis. This habit when followed over a long period of time tends to slow down the body's ability to maintain blood sugars as well as healthy weight.

So, dear all my friends do have a healthy, nutritious breakfast everyday to maintain your sugars as well as weight.
Just don't read but make it a everyday practice from today.

Hello doctor is this any possible way to reoccur molar pregnancy and how to prevent another molar pregnancy?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Hello doctor is this any possible way to reoccur molar pregnancy and how to prevent another molar pregnancy?
After molar pregnancy, the risk of developing a second mole is 1.2-1.4%. The risk increases to 20% after 2 moles. So effective contraception is recommended during the period of follow-up, oral contraceptive pills should be started immediately after evacuation of vesicular mole. After completion of documented remission or normal hcg value for 12 months, women who desire pregnancy may discontinue contraception, and can plan for next pregnancy.

A pregnant woman should take utmost caution of what she eats. A nutritious diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids is recommended. Overall besides normal food make sure she takes a big glass of milk daily, 2-3 eggs in a week, chicken/ fish twice a week, take 2 helping of fruits and salads daily. Taking 5-6 almonds alone a piece or two of walnuts daily should overall take care of your nutritional requirements. Hope this helps you.

I am 25 year old. I had a stoke of seizure in Jan-16 and my neurologist put me under medication of Levera XR 750 (once a day). As per him, these tablets are to be continued for 2 years. Then I tried to conceive in Aug-16 but had to abort as recommended by my gums due to absence of heart beat after 3 weeks. Now again I am planning to conceive and already taking COR-3 and Ecosprin-75. Now on recommendation by going, I am starting fertile F instead of Ecosprin-75. Is it safe to have Levera XR 750 during pregnancy. Pls. Note that my blood group is O negative and had Anti-D dose during abortion of previous pregnancy. Pls. Advice, is all these are enough to avoid any complications again?

Hi lybrate-user Sorry about your early pregnancy loss. Lets list out the issues. A) Epilepsy b) Rh Negative c) 1 early pregnancy loss d) Medication confusion Now for my advice. A) You had a seizure, and have been put on LEVERA XR. It is very important that you do not stop the medicine without consulting you neurologist. Suddenly stopping it can cause seizures. It can be taken during pregnancy, but may need dosage adjustment. You gynaecologist and neurologist should decide management together. SO please continue taking it. B) Good you had the AntiD. Make sure the antibody levels are monitored through pregnancy. C) 1 early pregnancy loss is not a cause for concern. Nature tends to remove unhealthy embryos before they grow. You need to worry after 3 consecutive losses. D) Ecospirin is given for women with repeated pregnancy losses and having blood clotting disorders. Stopping Ecospirin is ok. Fertile F is a multivitamin combo, and again upto you to take it. COR 3 is folic acid tablet, and is necessary before getting pregnant and in early pregnancy. More so, since you have Seizure problem. It will help in baby brain development. LEVERA XR is VERY VErY IMPORTANT. And finally, relax, stay positive and look forward to a healthy pregnancy. All the best
