Respected sir I have a breathing problem whenever I do some little hard work is very difficult for to me breathing. Waiting for your suggestion.

Internal Medicine Specialist, Kendujhar
Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned difficulty breathing can be due to many pathological conditions so do few investigations to rule out any problems- 1) Do [complete blood count with differential] & ESR 2) Do a chest X-ray and ECG to rule out heart and lung related issues. 3) Do check your blood pressure if it is not within normal limits then do a clinical examination by your local doctor and do an [Angiogram]to rule out any arterial blockages. Hope that helps and wish you a good health.

I am 17 year male suffering from cold and cough frequently twice every month what should I do?

Firstly there's no lifelong cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are only effective against infections of throat and are of no use against cold viruses. Over-the-counter (otc) cold preparations won't cure a common cold or make it go away any sooner, and most have side effects. A saltwater gargle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2tsp turmeric dissolved in a glass of warm water can temporarily relieve a sore or scratchy throat. To help relieve nasal congestion, try saline (pure salt water) nasal drops.

My advice to you will be to not to focus or analyse too much on your feeling s all the time. That is the trap bipolar & depression people fall into. Everyone has ups & downs in emotions every single day. Do not consider yourself as a bipolar patient. Set of emotional state oe repeated typed of thoughts vaguelyare grouped as a particular problemproblem for therapeutic convince. But if you are focused on it, trying hard to get over it, you may find yourself in a perpetuating conflict. Let life flow. As it has, and as it has to.

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of lungs. In most of the cases asthma can be only controlled and not cured, like many other chronic diseases such as high bp and diabetes. The target of treatment therefore should be good control.

Can whey protein be a cause for tonsillitis that I have in my throat? Its damn painful.

General Physician, Mumbai
You your self have to pinpoint the cause for your tonsillitis problem and whey protein if taken with chilled water and not properly sucked can cause tonsillitis.
