I advise you do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids. Avoid garlic and red chilly and non veg and eggs. Don't worry about periods, they will come. The periods are sometimes late due to our mental stress and faulty dietary habits. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.

I am 50 years old lady with weight around 79 kg. Having irregular periods with heavy flow and severe stomach pain for past 4-5 years. 2015 and past ultrasound revealed a normal size uterus having one small fibroid. Undergone dnc and biopsy (which was negative) in 2013. Doctor advised to take trapic mf 3 times a day. Another private doctor advised me to undergo hysterectomy while government doctor advised me to go through this phase considering my age it may be sign of menopause. 1. Should I take medicine or go for operation? 2. If operation, will it be laparoscopy or major operation? I had 2 caesarean operations in 1987 and 1991. I was told that due to caesarean operations it may be not be possible to do laparoscopy as some organs may be joined with uterus over the years due to the internal stitches. Any clinical test that can reveal the above fact. 3. For how many days trapic mf can be taken. My last periods lasted for 20 to 25 days and therefore had to take it for all these days. Any side effect of taking trapic mf for long? 4. Also taking homeopathic medicine for the past 4-5 years was helping me to some extent. Recently medicine was changed which finally stopped the bleeding after 20 to 25 days but the side effect is that I am feeling very sleepy and lethargy.

if pain is occurring for long time it is better to do surgery. One can try with laparoscopy and if impossible to separate bladder from uterus one can proceed with open surgery. trapic mf should not be taken for so long. homeopathic medicine is of doubtful role in relieving these kind of conditions.

Hello, Having 2 pregnancies in a span of 2.5 years would have physically taken a toll on your health.Just for few months, focus on getting fit and do not focus much on weight loss. You have to first overcome from the trauma of two back to back deliveries. Start doing suryanamaskars, breathing exercises or mild walks. Start from minimum sets or duration.Focus on eating healthy, include lots of water, green leafy vegetables, low calorie fruits, whole grain cereals etc.Start your fitness process with lots of clean and mindful eating,as that will facilitate weight lss and will also help you correct deficiencies which are common post deliveries.

The easiest way to check if you are pregnant today is by urine pregnancy tests. These kits are easily available at pharmacists. Nausea, breast tenderness, loss of appetite are all non specific signs. These may or may not be present in all pregnant women. On the other hand, these can sometimes be present for reasons other than pregnancy also.

7 Terrible Things that Happen to You When You Eat a Heavy Dinner

MBBS, Basic Life Support (B.L.S), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Fellow of Academy of General Education (FAGE)

7 Terrible Things that Happen to You When You Eat a Heavy Dinner

Life is getting stressful day by day. Food habits are changing and so is the diet pattern. A balanced diet is becoming a highly debatable topic in these tough times. Dinner is the last meal of the day and surprisingly the most neglected one too. Though one may begin the day on a heavy note it is always advisable to end it with a light dinner. If this is not followed, your body may be seriously damaged in the process.

In fact, your body will always react to an over eaten meal, in numerous ways as listed below-

  1. 7 times more tendency to put on weight: The human body much like the mind is the most active in the morning and by the time it is night, it tends to slow down. Therefore, eating a large meal for dinner is detrimental to your health as by then the metabolism slows down and the heavy meal eaten by you is not digested rather stored as extra fat.

  2. Acidity: People who eat a heavy dinner tend to complain a lot about gastritis and acidity related chest pain and passage of gas.

  3. Migraine: Overeating and fat accumulation has also shown to increase chance of migraine. People generally wake up with a congested mind and clouded thoughts which can later take the form of migraine.

  4. Heart Rate Rises: One effect of overeating is the rapid rise in the heart rate. The body tries to grapple with the intake of large amount of food and as a result, the heart rate rises sharply and we tend to feel nauseated and uncomfortable.

  5. Reduced Sleep: A heavy meal at night disturbs the sleeping pattern of an individual. The brain receives maximum nourishment during sleep. If you eat a heavy meal, the blood supply to the brain is reduced and it is channelized to the stomach for digestion. Hence when people wake up in the morning they feel stressed out and tired.

  6. Depressed: It may sound incredible, but overeating at night according to doctors is not only a sign of depression, but also manifests the condition. Excess accumulation of fat leads to depression. This phenomenon is more common In women.

  7. Increased Stress: The relation between food and stress has been well established, as people under stress tend to eat more. However, it is also true that overeating at night may trigger stress too. After a bout of overeating, your body tends to feel stressed that is converted into a feeling of sluggishness on the day after. It thus becomes a cycle and the person gets caught in it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

Finally, you might have a pH balance in the vagina that is easily changed, even by the act of sex, and that can lead to infections and other problems that cause your vaginal area to swell. If you have a history of getting yeast infections or urinary tract infections after sex, this might be the problem.

There is no perfect method. Since it can differ from person to person. Some times the periods may get delayed. Have patience and wait for some more time. If needed take the help of a gynecologist for clarification of your doubts.

Hello, 3 months is a very short period to become pregnant. You should try for at least 1 year to conceive naturally. If you are still not able to conceive then consult an infertility specialist and get your hormonal tests done to rule out the cause behind your inability to conceive. For now, consult a gynecologist and get follicular monitoring done and have timely intercourse.
