I am a 25 year old boy and my left knee make a little sound when I move my legs but it doesn't pain.
Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem.

Dear -it may be due to calcium deficiency at your age -or peripheral neuropathy - if you are a diabetic then due to poly neuropathy so I would recommend you to start taking the following medicines 1. Cap giloy- 2 cap twice daily 2. Praval pisti - 125 mg twice with luke warm water 3 chandan bala lakshadi oil for local application.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your history indicates that there might be a nerve impingement at the neck region you should ask your therapist to do therapy only with modalities like tens, no exercises in painful periods take a short course of anti inflammatory medication which suits you you can also take medicines for neuropathic symptoms like pregabalin or gabapentin in minimal dosage also I would like to know: - whether there is only pain or any other symptoms like numbness, paraesthesia, weakness in upper limbs - is there any history of fever, swelling, night sweats, loss of appetite and weight etc? if you take rest, ice packs at neck area and follow this conservative regime protocol, you should get better in next 2-3 weeks if other symptoms are not there. If pain increases or any other symptoms develop, then please get in touch with me as we might have to do some tests for you. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Go for a Hip MRI to get it examined to know the true cause of pain. Headache can be due to Cervical Spine issue with tight muscles around the head and neck which can give headaches which mimics migraine type headache. Consult a Qualified Orthopedic Physiotherapist Specialised in Manual Medicine. Take Magnesium Citrate 400 mg daily at night, may take 800 mg divided in two dose before sleep. Take Coenzyme Q10 200 mg per day at morning. Make sure you don't have Heart disease already diagnosed and taking any blood thinning and digoxin drug, otherwise Coenzyme Q10 is not advised in this. Hope it helps.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hamstring Stretch Lie on your back with your left leg flat on the floor. Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

May be due to strain, long standing, bad posture, and calf stiffness anyway. Avoid home remedy do wax therapy and ultrasonic therapy after 3 days start stretching exercise of calf muscle avoid long standing and keep equal balance on leg.

I have pain from the lower back that's from hip till the ankle only in the right side. This happened because of 3 reasons aerobics, lifting heavy weight and yoga stretches. I had taken treatment for the same and the doctor told it's a muscle tear and asked me to take one month rest and I was taking some pain killers and I started by regular activity after one and half month and I just went to zumba classes and I got the pain back in the same place. Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.
