I want to get more and very much fairer. When I wake up in the morning I look very fair but after that I become very brown. I want to grow foreigner white like I look in early morning or on very cold nights.
Am suffering from genital vitiligo, one small spot on leg and one small spot one right hand finger. From last one year am under steroids treatment, 2 tablets a week. Since I was very much worried about the same. I started ayurvedic treatment also for the same. From 5 months am also taking ayurvedic treatment along with steroids. The ayurvedic treatment consists of 3 medicines - immunity increase capsule, anti vitiligo capsule and pigmentation capsule. Since then there is no pigmentation on genital area. For leg and finger it was almost gone before starting ayurvedic treatment. Further have reduced my steroids power from 16 mg to 8 mg twice a week from past many months. Also am following all the diet restrictions. My question 1. Is it ok if I take both the medicines simultaneously steroids and ayurvedic, till date have not suffered from any side effects. 2. Is ayurvedic medicine effective if taken along with steroids. 3. If my doctor stops steroids will there be any further increase as at present there is no increase. Also have completed ayurvedic treatment for 5 months, will this help in further increase. 4. What should be further course of action. Please guide. As I am also not comfortable of taking two different medicines simultaneously, but had no option. Sincere request to please help in this regard.
Myths and facts about breast augmentation
Myth- the result is same for all persons and all types of augmentation.
Fact- everyone is different, each one's breasts and tissues are not like any other womanas, and therefore your surgery will also be unique to you. There are many factors that affect the final results of breast augmentation such as the size, the condition of the skin, and the placement of implant.
Myth- there is only one best way to do a breast augmentation
Fact - every surgery is different. It is important to find a good cosmetic surgeon who can guide you through the various options.
Myth- Certain ccas in a breast implant will produce a certain cup size.
Fact - to determine the cup size after breast augmentation, a surgeon must determine what amount of tissue is there before surgery plus the implant.
For example, a former 200 cc implant might create a c cup on a woman with very little breast tissue before the operation but might make a d cup on someone who had more tissue before the implant was put in place.
Myth - asymmetric breasts cannot be corrected by augmentation.
Fact- the smaller breast is made up of less skin compared to the larger breast.
For a surgeon to match both breasts equally after an augmentation, he should take into account both of the shape and the size of the breasts.
Myth- it is a scarless procedure
Fact - while the scar is one of the most talked about concerns before surgery, it turns out to have the least amount of concern after the breast augmentation.
Fat grafting is almost scarless.
Myth - breast augmentation is a simple operation
Fact - only a highly skilled cosmetic surgeon can perform this operation.
Myth - one should expect excessive bruising after breast augmentation.
Fact - up to 98% of the patients experience no bruising after their breast augmentation. Bruising is actually caused by bleeding underneath the skin, a skilled cosmetic surgeon take proper precautions to eliminate any bleeding points.
Myth - the bigger the breasts, the better.
Fact - it's actually all about the shape that must suit your body. Larger breast implants are more likely to sag as you get older and are more likely to require surgery in the future. Your age, body type, and tissues can all make a difference in the long term results of your implants.
Myth - cup size is a predictable way to measure the size of a womanas breast.
Fact - not all bras fit the same way. A 34b has a little different cup size than a 36b. Cup sizes are extremely variable and not an accurate way to describe the size of a breast. a true size is based on measurements and demonstrations with your own tissue.
Myth - textured shell implants are much easier to feel inside the breast compared to smooth gel implants.
Fact - the difference in thickness between a textured shell implant and that of a smooth gel implant is only a few ten thousandths of an inch and makes little difference when feeling your breasts.
The main factors that allow you to feel an implant are the thickness of your skin, fat, and breast tissue, and whether the implant is placed over or under the muscle.
Myth - implants and results will last a lifetime.
Fact - no medical device can really be expected to last a lifetime. Your breast implants are meant to last for many years to come but they will not necessarily last a lifetime. You may need an exchange of implants in the future.
Myth - silicone implants are dangerous and cause diseases.
Fact - there have been multitudes of scientific testing on silicone gel implants and they do not show any cause of known disease. Millions of implant surgeries have been performed without a single evidence of cancer.
Myth - saline implants are better to get than silicone gel implants.
Fact - saline implants are firmer; they do not feel as natural and tend to ripple more than silicone. Ruptures of saline implants is much more common and absorbs 1% per implant per year. Rupture of either type implant is rare, but the salt water in the saline implants is completely safe for the body.
Myth - implants should never be placed over the muscle.
Fact - there are certain factors they will consider when making this decision:
* how thick are your tissues that will cover the implant?
* how the particular implant you select will affect your future mammograms?
* which set of tradeoffs are most acceptable to you, such as implant edge visibility.
Myth - all implants look fake
Fact - by carefully considering breast implant factors like profile, placement, and a patient's unique measurements, natural-looking breast augmentation is the norm rather than the exception. With today's innovations in breast implants, skilled plastic surgeons can create elegant, subtle breast augmentations that let the patient's inherent beauty shine through.
Myth - you won't be able to breastfeed
Fact - there currently exists no medical evidence that states breast implants interfere with breastfeeding capabilities. With or without implants, some women are unable to successfully breastfeed, but implants should not impede a woman's ability to do so.
