Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The problem of parasites developing in the intestine is not related to eating sweets or sugar. It is due to unhygienic conditions prevailing around, or unclean personal habits, like not trimming the finger nails, not thoroughly washing hands after a visit to toilet, eating in road side food stalls, not washing fruits and vegetables cleanly before using, drinking contaminated water etc. Please look at above things whether any of those are there. There are a few medications which can be helpful, based on which type of worm infestation is involved. Even the dosage also varies for different infestations. So please come back with specific details of type of infections, thanks.

What is the cause of acidity? Nd how the acidity forms in stomach, what medicines we have to take.
Hi, Inadequate sleep, untimely intake of food, intake of very hot and spicy food, sour or fermented food, mental worries and tensions, excessive usage of pain killers and antibiotics are all causes of acidity which either increases the acid production or irritate the gastric mucosa resulting in hyperacidity causing pain and bloating of the stomach. Take cap. Stomotone 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 weeks and Himcocid syrup 2tsf 3 times daily before food to control burning sensation and pain in the stomach and chest Take. Madiphala Rasayana 2tsf 3 times a day to stop vomitting. Avoid hot and spicy food. Eat small quantities frequently. Drink plenty of water. Never miss your breakfast. Avoid excess intake of coffee and tea.

In many cases a minor change in the basic lifestyle can bring about a big change in the chronic problems. Try using only whole grains and simple easily digestible food items .(More of fruits and vegetables). Have small portions of food at a time. Do not lie down after having food. Have a glass of water 30-45 mins before any meals. Walk slowly for 10 -15 mins after a meal. Learn yoga and do it regularly. If you adopt a healthy life style you will not develop diabetes!

I am 65 years of age. Recently, I suffered food swallowing problem due to acid reflux. This was temporary and is cured now with tablets Gannamod total. However, as a part of diagnosis I had to undergo CT scan for chest and abdomen. One component of the report revealed, “small sliding hiatus hernia with asymmetric wall thickening of the rugal fold of stomach at level of diaphragm”. It is a matter of concern for me as thickening of inner wall of stomach can trigger ulcer in future. My question is, is this development connected with Kapalbhati Pranayam? I have been practicing it for many years for 10 minutes every morning (total counts 1200, with 3 to 4 breaks of few minutes). I have read that this Pranayam strengthens abdomen muscle and it makes me think that thickening of stomach wall could be repercussion of Kapalbhati Pranatam. Please advise, in view of my problem, (i) if I can continue with this Pranayam (ii) If yes, what should be the time duration?
