I'm carrying a very bad since 10-12 years i.e. Masturbation. I do it regularly, sometimes more than once. It makes me tired and I feel psychologically guilty. Sometimes I stop it for one week or two, but not more than that. I don't watch porns. I'm unmarried and I don't have girlfriend. It is now my only addiction. I don't have any special hobby. How to get rid of my addiction?

You neednot feel guilty of doind masturabtionandis is safe .8 amazing health benefits of masturbation Masturbation can be extremely beneficial to your health and well-being. It doesn't just feel good, it has other benefits too that can vastly improve your health and life. Here are some reasons why you should masturbate regularly: 1. It boosts your mood Masturbating releases the hormones oxytocin and dopamine, which improve your mood and give you a natural high. It helps you relax and decreases your stress and anxiety levels. 2. Helps you sleep Having an orgasm relaxes you physically and mentally, relieves tension and makes you feel satisfied due to the lowering of blood pressure and the release of endorphins. This helps you fall asleep faster and sleep better. 3. Lesser junk food cravings The release of oxytocin makes us feel happier, lowering emotionally triggered food cravings, which help you make better food choices and avoid unhealthy and fattening 'comfort' food. 4. Relieves cramps Masturbation can help relieve menstrual cramps. It increases blood flow to your pelvic region and hence eases pain, cramps and backaches. 5. Helps cure urinary tract infection in women Those suffering from utis can get relief by masturbating as it flushes out bacteria from the cervix. 6. Prevents prostate cancer Masturbation flushes out the toxin build-up in the urogenital tract, making men who ejaculate frequently three times less likely to develop prostate cancer. 7. May get rid of restless leg syndrome People who suffer from restless leg syndrome feel a constant need to move their limb, which may cause leg pain and cramps. A publication in 'sleep medicine' a medical journal suggests that sex and masturbation may help relieve symptoms of rls. 8. Boosts your immunity and general health Ejaculation in males triggers the release of cortisol, a stress hormone. Although stress inducing, experts believe that small doses of this hormone help build your immunity. In women, masturbation is known to improve cervical and cardiovascular health while also reducing the risk of type-2 diabetes. 6 Common myths on masturbation busted! Although a very normal physical function, masturbation (the touching of your genitals and other erogenous zones to induce sexual pleasure) has certain taboos attached to it. This natural sexual practice has given birth to all kinds of myths which stops people from indulging in this form of self-pleasure. Here are some of the most common misconceptions and the truths behind them. 1. Myth: Masturbation makes you go blind Fact: Masturbation cannot make you blind. Studies conducted on this point of contention haven’t been able to find a link between masturbation and blindness. On the contrary, these researches have gone on to reveal that individuals who masturbate 4 times daily or more for years haven’t been found to suffer from any diseases attributed to masturbation, including blindness. 2. Myth: It can cause you to suffer from erectile dysfunction Fact: Erectile dysfunction refers to the inability to maintain or get an erection during intercourse. The causes of this sexual dysfunction are varied, but masturbation doesn’t figure in the list of causes. What really happens is that when you masturbate repeatedly, you become used to your own touch or to a certain kind of sensation. As a result, you may find it difficult to have orgasms with your partner. 3. Myth: Masturbation doesn’t provide any long-term health benefits Fact: Many experts believe that masturbation can be good for your health. Some of the health benefits that it provides include improved concentration levels and better sleep. It also helps in relieving stress and headaches as your body releases endorphins (brain chemicals), which give you a sense of well-being. Apart from that, masturbating regularly ensures better fitness levels and a youthful appearance in men. For women, it offers certain sexual health benefits such as less pain during sexual intercourse. This happens due to the interaction between brain receptors and the endorphins, which help in reducing your perception of pain. Furthermore, it can even reduce vaginal dryness. 4. Myth: Children do not masturbate Fact: Masturbation is a normal childhood habit, wherein young children discover the private parts of their bodies and the feelings of pleasure that arise from this activity. Most children begin to play with their private parts by about 5-6 years of age. A child can masturbate once a week or several times a day. There are even researches out there that show male foetuses masturbating in the womb. 5. Myth: There’s no limit to how much you can masturbate Fact: According to the American Psychological Association, you should stop masturbating if it affects your daily life; causes emotional problems or physical soreness; disrupts your relationship with your partner or makes you unable to have orgasms from the stimulation that you experience with your partner. Otherwise, the frequency of masturbating can vary from individual to individual. If you masturbate a number of times in a day and still lead a healthy and satisfying life, you have nothing to worry about. 6. Myth: People in relationships do not masturbate Fact: Whether you’re single or in a relationship, masturbation is a healthy sexual activity that you can engage in to fulfil your sexual desires. Studies show that masturbation is a very common behaviour; about 92% of men and 62% of women masturbate. Sometimes, couples also engage in masturbation together as part of their sexual activity.

I am 22 years old I lv problem in ear that there is retracted ear. please tell me the suitable treatment.
Yawning, or opening and closing one’s mouth can help raise the pressure inside the ear, thereby equalizing it with external pressure. Severe instances of a retracted eardrum may require draining of liquids from the middle ear via use of a tympanostomy ear tube. Cholesteatoma or retraction pockets with infections can be eliminated via different kinds of surgical methods.

Hello friends, this is Dr Richa Gupta here, I am a practising gynaecologist in Ramesh Nagar New Delhi. Today I will tell you something about polycystic ovarian disease, this you must know from some of your friends or through the magazines or internet and as I should tell you that this is a very prevalent gynaecological hormonal disorder nowadays. It is very common in young's adolescent girls and it may range up to the old females also that is up to 40 years and at every stage of your reproductive life, it causes major problems in your gynaecological life career, ok. Now what are the main causes if any girl is obese, if she is having a lot of junk food, if she is not doing exercise, she is physically very unfit. Then these various causes are the most prone to the Polycystic ovarian disease, what it leads, it may cause Oligomenorrhea that is skipping of your normal menstrual cycles for from one or two periods to more than three periods. That is I mean you may have only up to 4 cycles per year. Now, the second thing is that you may have other hormonal change that is acne, you may have increased hair growth on your face, on your upper abdomen, on your thighs these are all due to the Polycystic ovarian disease. So how can you cure this, the basic cause is that in today's lifestyle you girls have no of the physical and mental stress, you are more inclined towards the junk food and there is a very less physical activity or I must say the lack of physical activity including meditation and yoga. You must include all these things include the green vegetables, citrus fruits and coloured vegetables also and you must include physical fitness in your regime. This will eventually cause a shift from bad hormones to the good hormones and thus you will be experiencing a shift from Oligomenorrhea that is the less menstrual cycle to your regular periods. And yes, of course, you must see of Gynaecologist as well because without her help you cannot get back to your normal menstrual cycle if they are the causes of if the symptoms of the Polycystic ovarian disease.

So, if you have some queries regarding this polycystic ovarian disease or early in the gynaecological or obesity disorder, you can consult me online on

Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Sir my penis size is 12 cm when erect is this normal?
Am masturbating weekly twice is it good or affect health?
The average size of penis is 5.54 inches (14.07 cm) length and 3.11 inches (7.9 cm) girth are enough to perform a successful sexual intercourse. Masturbation twice per week is healthy excess leads to side effects. Some of the after- effects of masturbation are: a. The nervous system is affected the most. B. Besides the heart, the digestive system, the urinary system as well as the other systems are adversely affected and consequently the whole body becomes the museum of diseases with profound weakness. C. The eyes become sunken, the cheek bones protrude and there is a black rim round the eyes. D. Continuous headache and backache. E. Dizziness and loss of memory. F. Palpitation of heart on lightest exertion. G. Nervousness. H. Unable to perform any heavy physical or mental work. I. The person dislikes any company and activities and rather likes to sit in seclusion and suffers from weakness. J. All the senses are impaired. K. Vision becomes dim, the tongue begins to stammer and ears tend to become deaf etc. L. Lastly T.B. Or insanity or some other serious disease catch hold of the victim to lead his life to a close. M. Impotency/ erectile dysfunction / premature ejaculation ,reduced penis size, hardness etc Therefore, young men are advised to consult a qualified and honest homoeopathic practitioner for his expert advice and effective treatment instead of wasting his money with quacks. Further, those young men who are or have been engaged in the regular habits of masturbation should not ignore the necessity to consult the qualified homoeopaths to avoid sexual embarrassment at the time of marriage. Homoeopathic treatment for taking away the habit of masturbation and removing its bad effects. Consult for homoepathic treatment without side effects recommend me by clicking on recommend option and leave feedback.

Doctor how to leave this habit of masturbating? I go to gym so I need more testosterone.
Dear lybrate user. Many people think that they are ADDICTED to masturbation / sex, where as they are actually just used to masturbate / have sex regularly and can’t quit easily. Addiction is problematic and being used to is not, though there is only a thin line separating both. Masturbation / sex is not harmful as long as it is not an addiction. We need to determine if you are addicted or just used to. Sex thoughts, Sex addiction, masturbation addiction, porn films addiction etc comes under behavior addiction. Behavioral addiction is a form of addiction that involves a compulsion to engage in a rewarding non-drug-related behavior – sometimes called a natural reward – despite any negative consequences to the person's physical, mental, social or financial well-being. Behavior addiction needs to be curbed or controlled using your own self will power. Diverting your mind and body away from the circumstances which compels you for the addictive habit, with the help of physical exercises, games, entertainment etc can help you. Never sleep alone. Be always with your family even at night etc are some other tips. Willpower is the key always. Behavioral therapy also works well. Take care.
