Sir 15 year earlier my mom's both feets were broken but at that time doctor jst apply plaster on it without any operation and now it create a lot of problem to my mom. Her feet are swelled and pain a lot that she can can't walk long distance. Can you tell what can I do?

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated do ask for detailed treatment plan. Yo do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. You must have x rays of your feet done. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It will be better if you visit me in my clinic.

When there is a compression in the root of the spinal nerve, one experiences pain in hips, back or leg. This condition is called sciatica. This condition ranges from moderate to acute and requires a lot of care to be taken. While there are medicines and exercises in place to cure sciatica, garlic milk is also known to be a good remedy for this health condition.

You can drink this in cooked form or raw. The odor is strong, but it does also show satisfactory results so you might want to give it a try.
Crush a few cloves of garlic and immediately mix in about 200 ml of raw milk. Drink it immediately. Alternatively, you can also mix the garlic in boiled milk and drink. You will notice change in a few days only.

I have spondylitis and when it pains it pains like anything the shoulder gets stiff and spasms and there is unbearable pain through the left shoulder and even the neck gets very stiff. What should I do to recover from it for relief.

Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Although you have provided a limited information regarding your leg pain in your age but I will try to figure out few important reasons for leg pains ------------------------- 1. As you have not mentioned your weight, so overweight can be a major reason for your leg pain as legs pains in overweights can be a referred pain from your back------------------------ 2. Muscular cramps due to many reasons and the major one is dehydration due to drinking less water during the day-------- 3. Leg bone pains due to exhaustion due to vitamin-d deficiency----- 4. There could be a few different things going on. A skin infection is certainly a possibility. Often these infections start with small cuts that you can't even see (or bites). They can also occur through small infections at the nail fold, which can occur if you have frequent manicures or if you bite your nails. If you notice that the skin is red and warm, then these are signs that you may have this type of infection. If so, you should see your primary care doctor immediately. If the infection is severe, you may need oral antibiotics to bring the infection under control. If the infection is limited just to the nail fold, this is called a paronychia and it can often be managed just with warm soaks and topical antibiotic creams. Your doctor will be able to help your sort this out. Another possibility, if this is not a skin infection, is that you could have a joint inflammation. This would be more like if the redness and swelling is centered around one of the joints in the finger rather than in the overall skin of the finger. Regardless, the first step is to go see your doctor!

Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi, You might have picked some intestinal infection after eating outside food. Be on bland diet, drink plenty of water and take tab. Kutaja 1 tab 3 times a day and tab. Yogaraja guggulu 1 tab 3 times a day. If the symptoms do not subside, then get your routine stool examination done and revert back with the reports.

Hi * stop running completely or decrease your training. *apply ice to reduce inflammation. *gently stretch your achilles and your calves. *consider cross-training for a while swim, run in the pool or ride a bike. *when you return to running, increase your mileage slowly, no more than 10 percent weekly. *make sure you wear the correct running shoes do reply for detailed treatment plan.   • Improve flexibility of tendons: The knee cap is an area where there are lot of tendons and ligaments, coordinating to enable movement. Careful exercising can ensure that the flexibility of tendons and ligaments is improved, thereby making your knee movement easier and less painful.
  • Improves blood supply: As we all know, proper movement requires good blood supply. Exercising with special focus on the knee ensures that blood supply is improved, and thereby the supporting ligaments and tendons function optimally.
  • Enhances the knee cap function: The knee cap is that portion which joins your thigh bone to your calf bones. This is prone to slip out of place, especially with arthritis and injuries. This can be painful and limit movement to a great degree. Focused exercises aimed at improving knee cap function will ensure that the knee cap has a wider range of function, and does not slip out of its socket easily.
  • Reduce rigidity: Once you start physiotherapy, you will feel your knees getting more flexible. The rigidity that had set in as a result of injuries and/or old age will also reduce over a period of time.
