Hi, I am 28y married male and I started felling pain in my shoulder, so I do x-ray and it shows that I have cervical spendlos (mild). So how I can care? And some time I fell pain when I move my neck reverse or waking up in morning. What should I do? I do gym daily so should I do or stop? Thank you.

Hello Lybrate user I would like to suggest you for neck exercise moving clockwise and anti clockwise for 10 minutes two times daily and not to use any pillow beneath head. Learn yoga and exercise with yoga teacher or Physiotherapists who will help you lot. You may follow some Ayurveda medicines as given below. SPONDYLON. .2TABS RHEUMAT. .2tabs twice daily with warm water for 15 days. If you feel better result then continue it for 3 months.

Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

What is the main reason of pile and I am suffering from lower back pain please answer me sir?

Piles occur when the veins surrounding the anus are inflamed. Occurrence of haemorrhoids can be due to pregnancy, aging, chronic diarrhoea, constipation, straining to pass stool, sitting for long periods,, obesity and genetics. Bleeding occurring in the anal area, itching, discomfort, and swelling may indicate haemorrhoids. Precautions- Have regular food habits as well as habit of going for motion. Don’t avoid when you have an urge for going to toilet. Take 2 to 3 glasses of warm water in the morning. This will help in reducing acidity as well as hardness of stool and you don’t have to strain your pelvic muscles. Keep hydrated by drinking lots of water and having fruits and vegetable juices Avoid sitting for long time at one place. Sedentary habit causes constipation. Driving bike or cycle for long duration at a time may be avoided. Travelling in a car or bus for long journey is also not good. Train is better as you can change positions. Avoid chillies, masalas and such hot foods. Take easily digestible foods including curds and fruits. We have very good treatment in homoeopathy. My wife age is 35 and having one child. From last 2 years I observed she is having leg pain in both legs please at night time only. If I press the legs she get relax. The condition is called plantar fascitis, contrast bath that is cold pack followed by hot pack will help you and once you get up in the morning walk first 5 to 10 steps on your toes and then keep your heel. You can also consult a physiotherapist.

I am 53 year old woman all my bones are paining & particularly I have low back ache I am not taking any pain killers, once in a while I take acyclophenic 200 mg but I am taking ostrocalcium tab (2 tab) every day along with calcirol ( vitd3) tab once a week kindly suggest me few exercises or some other safe medicine

It' s good to know that you are taking your calcium and vitamin d supplementation, you need intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. Make a habit of long brisk walks of at least 30 in everyday, take proper care of your posture and it should be ok, if not we will have to get x rays and mri scans to actually see your pathology in detail. I would like to examine the patient sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. I'm having ankle twist when I played football. What should I do to cure the pain.

Hi ~use elastic bandages (such as an ace bandage) to wrap your ankle. ~wear a brace to support your ankle. ~use crutches for walking till swelling and pain subsides. ~keep your foot raised above your heart with pillows when resting or sleeping to reduce swelling. ~get plenty of rest and do not put weight on your ankle. Still you don't get relief than visit physiotherapist as physical examination /xray may be required for further investigation. Do reply for detailed treatment plan. Wishing you a good health.

I am 38 years female having severe pain on back side of my shoulders and down up to rib cage I cannot move my arms freely as it hurts I cannot lie on my back or both side of arms as it hurts so I cannot sleep properly.
