I am 16 year old weighing 43 kgs. I am doing workout from one month But this causes only minor changes in my Body. It will take one year to see distinct changes in yourself. It will take two years for others to notice these changes in you. Everyday you need to exercise for 60-120 mins. Do exercise for fitness and not for showing off your body. Love doing exercise. That gives more happiness and satisfaction. Measure your progress by the intensity of exercise you can do.

You should not exceed 5 teaspoons of any oil per day. This includes oil/ghee /dalda. Minimum can be 3 teaspoons. Sugar should not be more than 4 teaspoons.

The solution to weakness is more Exercise. And better diet. Do not be afraid of being tired. Push your body more and make it strong. Take more milk /curd / cheese. 3 Fruits everyday. More proteins in diet. Feel strong in mind and do daily exercise. Don't compare with others.

Fish oil contains Omega3 fatty acids which is good for heart and can help reduce cholesterol. Fish oil does not help in weight reduction.

Fat of the body can only be catalysed or burnt through exercise and balance diet. This has to be done over sustained periods of time. Only then you can become fit, slim and healthy. There is nothing like 'Fat Cutter' drink. There is food/herb/medicine/gadget that can burn off fat from the body. These things are just myths created in a wild hope that some miracle will transform your body overnight. Unfortunately it is not true. If you want to become fit, then develop healthy habits of eating and exercise.

1. Thyroid - No diet can cure this problem. You have to take medicine for life. 2. Diabetes - Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..>> Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango..>> Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..>> Eat fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange. Diabetes can be controlled / managed through various measures.

You are fit and healthy now. Continue with your exercises and eat healthy. Yoga is good for health. Don't be so much tense about issues like creams etc. Just use normal stuff based on whether its indoors or outdoors based on the time of the day. You can do Yoga any time of the day provided you give sufficient gap after meals. Stopping Yoga will not increase weight. If you are following something good. Then continue doing it.

Muesli is mostly processed and sweetened food. It is better to have natural foods like Roti or Poha or Idli. You can take a cup of milk with Five badams after this. It will be a better combination than muesli. But its okay to have Muesli once a while.

Its excellent if you are doing exercise. Continue doing it. Its the best investment in yourself. Your Height weight is fine. Have lots of fruits and dry fruits. Drink water regularly. Stay fit and stay happy.

100-126 Level indicates PRE-DIABETES stage. It means that if you can control now. You can reverse your sugar levels and be healthy. BUT if you don't control now. You could slip into diabetes stage. So take care now! >> Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..>> Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango..>> Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..>> Eat fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange..>> Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday. Walk for 10 mins after every meal.

Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise..>> Avoid 3 big meals. Instead take small mini meals every 2/3 hours. Take green vegetables/salad with every minimeal..>> Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..>> Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango..>> Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..>> Eat fruits  with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange.  .>> Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday. Hello Doctor. I am 29 years old and having a 11 months old baby. I gained too much of weight in pregnancy. Last month I was diagnosed with pcos and my doctor asked me too loose weight and also have prescribed me medicine like metformin hydrochloride sustained release tablet and elestra cyproterone acetate & ethinylestradiol tablets. Also caberlact tablet once a week as my prolactin is 77. For loosing weight I have joined gym .My current weight is 85 kg. The gym trainer Has advice me to take 1lemon juice after all d 3 meal but have asked to consult doctor before taking lemon juice as according to him lemon can have adverse effects on d medicine taken. So I want to seek your advice. Can I take the lemon juice for weight loss?

Weight loss happens by continous diet management and regular exercise. Lemon juice is a healthy drink but it has no role to play in weight loss. It is just a myth like many others like Green Tea. Aloe Vera. Etc. For exercise follow 40: 10:10 formula for max weight loss. # 40 min Cardio # 10 mins Abs & Stretches # 10 mins Strength and Toning For Diet. Cut down all sugar stuff. Colas. Juices. And fried foods. Focus more on fruits. Veggies. Salads. Soups etc. Consult a dietician for a detailed diet plan.

I have desk job but doing gym and yoga, pranayam and my diet also good then also my blood pressure increased up to 150/86 Before that I had black coffee for week before gym amount was more so I am don't understand this bp increase is due to black coffee means temporary or its permanently increased I went to hospital and taking BP tablets from last 6 days.

You should not start taking medicines just on the basis of one reading. Many a times because of activity or mental tension, the BP may be high. It is better if you take your BP over 7 days, that too in the morning before exercise, and only after that you can approach a doctor for any medicine if required.

Toned body can be made by proper diet + Exercise. For exercise you need to tone your arms - shoulders - abs - waist - lower waist - thighs and legs. There is no need to go to gym because most of the gym trainers are just body builders who can only guide you for weight lifting and nothing else. You can manage your own fitness at home through a combination of Jogging - Yoga - Equipment free exercises - Skipping - floor exercises. At least spend 60-90 mins every day on body toning. How much time it will take. Depends on what is your current state now and what you want to achieve. But for any clear - visible change at least it will take six months.
