Bad breath is common and is an unpleasant condition that can be cause for embarrassment. There are a number of things that can cause bad breath. It's usually the result of poor oral hygiene. You can try these things to improve your oral hygiene; Avoid foods and beverages that cause bad breath, Eat more fruits and vegetables, take sufficient amount of water, try sugar-free gum if your mouth tends to get dry, Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Make sure to reach the gum line as well as tooth surfaces, Floss at least once a day, Rinse with a mouthwash twice a day. Be sure to see your dentist at least twice a year for regular checkups and professional cleaning. Make an appointment to see your dentist. Regular checkups allow your dentist to detect any problems such as gum disease or dry mouth and stop them before they become more serious.

Braces - How can it reconstruct your smile!

Braces - How can it reconstruct your smile!

Can crooked teeth and gap between the teeth be arranged properly with help of braces?
Yes, Braces are the best way to correct crooked teeth and close gaps between your teeth. All other options will require placement of artificial attachments on your teeth. Braces help your smile correction in a way that no artificial attachments are needed and there are no recurring costs. There are various esthetic options available with braces like invisible braces, invisible clear aligners where only you and your orthodontist know that your teeth are straightening. Other options are clear ceramic braces and metal braces.

Dear sir please answer my question I am suffering from osmf my mouth opening is 55 mm and me chew krna quit kr diya hoon before 1 month there is any problem further using sm fibro and turbocort with the consultant of Dr. after how much time I will recover there is any risk please answer sir.

BDS
Dentist, Darjeeling
The medications are perfectly fine. You should continue the medication as suggested by your dental surgeon. OSMF is a problem which develops over a period of time where fibrous bands develop in the mouth. It also takes time to heal with mouth opening exercises and the final mouth opening although might not be till the previous extent but will definitively be better with time. Keep your trust in your Doctor. Wish you a fast recovery.

HI, My Age 34. I have been suffering by massive toothache since a month. Please give me a solution.
Delay in visiting a dentist might aggravate your problems. It could be a simple caries which might have led to the pain but holding it over a period of time and self medication will only aggravate the problem. You should consult a dentist asap.

I am experiencing a clicking sound in my right jaw when I open my mouth for chewing since three months. Now I feel it sounds more louder please help.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery, PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling
Dentist, Sidhi
I am experiencing a clicking sound in my right jaw when I open my mouth for chewing since three months. Now I feel it...
There are several reasons for clicking sound in TMJ, like clenching your teeth, which puts a lot of pressure ,Arthritis in the joint, Injury to your jaw, the joint, or the muscles of your head and neck etc. You can follow some instructions; Avoid extreme jaw movements, Avoid hard, crunchy foods, chewy foods, and large bites that require you to open wide. Eat soft food. Don't rest your chin on your hand or apply direct force on TMJ. Make an appointment with your dentist for clinical examination and medication.
