On 24 december I met with an accident due to which I have multiple fractures in my leg, consulted many doctors some say pop will work, some say operate so what should I do because I have diabetes 230 random, and heart problems for which I take aspirin, now on POP for 6 weeks, 2 weeks gone by. Please advice

Dear lybrate-user, I would suggest that first get your Diabetes under control, though its not very high but still on a higher side, so get your blood sugar in control first and then go with any other treatment. By the time POP is good. Aspirin intake is fine. Thanks.

Hey lybrate-user, See what you are telling me are two different thing, first feeling of twisted bone early morning and slight pain. Let me just clear you with the confusion, so feeling of twisted bone pain is worst n with that pain even symptoms like fever, vomiting,sensitivity to light, touch is there. Slight pain is normal which can be due to muscle overuse or any discomfort. I can understand by your question with the type of pain you must be getting up but what I can advice you is first get an MRI and Vitamin D3 checked as a part of investigation, so that we can get a clear picture of what is the problem and then please go to the nearby Physio Centre and get your back assessed. Please let me know what is the outcome of investigation accordingly I can suggest you with the complete treatment plan. Thanks.

Hi, Dr I got my hand pain especially near right thumb connecting 2 fingers. Numbness is there when I wake up. I observed that there is bulginess in my that area I got my mri done. But as such nothing came. This pain is from several years. Since it is my right hand I feel restless.

Hello lybrate-user, its a Good news that nothing came out in MRI. But pain, numbness is something that has to be taken care of as its been an year. I would suggest you please start with hot water formentation thrice a day with application of local ointment. But do not massage. Start wearing wrist-finger binder asap to avoid more wear and tear of the muscles. I even suggest you to take 7 days of Ultrasound Session from the Physiotherapist and as the pain subsides immediately start with the Strengthening Exercise for the wrist and finger both. Hello. About 4-5 months ago I suffered from a wrist injury (during chest workout flat bench). I soon approached an orthopedist had X ray and fortunately no cracks were identified. But said to be maybe suffering with a ligament injury. Took medication and had semi plaster to my hand (left as it was) soon the pain recovered a lot. It recovered to a certain extent that I am able to do a variety of works but when it comes to lifting and over twisting I get a pain for the period and persists for a certain duration. Soon recovers but again when same stuff is carried out pain generates. I am unable to rejoin workout program due to this please suggest what has gone wrong I fear! A request to help soon!

Hey lybrate-user, Ligament injuries takes alot of time to recover and as its winter you will feel pain while doing certain movement and stiffness too. I would suggest you to wear wrist binder while lifting anything, though I would not suggest you to life anything heavy for couple of weeks. Keep doing hot water formentation and start with Ultrasound Sessions from a Physiotherapist followed by Resistance and Strengthening Exercises. No massage. Thanks.

I am 60 years old lady, having problem in heels, when I get up in the morning and through out the day when I get up after sitting for sometime I can't walk, feel needles pricking feeling for last one year. I had two session of physiotherapy for 10 & 7 days. Please help me.

Dear , this condition is known as planter fascitis. Just do 1 thing at home, take lukewarm water in a small tub and put a small teaspoon of salt to it. Dip your heel inside for 30mins. After that dry it properly n put a thin filament of any ointment like moov, volini etc. N wear socks so that the heat remains for a longer period n keep your foot under the blanket. Do it before sleeping for 7 days and then tell me how it feels.

Dear, immediately start taking physiotherapy sessions. Take swd for 10mins (10days) u. S. To tender point (10days) ift x 5days. After that start exercising to strengthen your back and thigh muscles. That will help you for sure. Thanks.

Hey, back pain can be due to wrong posture (occupational) or stiffness in your back or lack of strength. What you should do is start doing stretches and strengthening exercise for your back. Take ift sessions from nearby physiotherapist and start exercising on regular basis. Understand ergonomics from physiotherapist.

Dear, Everyday take warm water in tub, add a pinch of salt into it. Dip it for 30mins. Take out your toes and dry it properly. Just put a thin filament of any ointment like moov. Volini etc n wear socks for 35mins. Do not rub it. Do it for 7days. See the difference then. Thanks.
