Get it checked and wear spectacles if needed. Also take Mahatriphala ghrita-1 spoon with 1cup of lukewarm desicowmilk twice a day.

Hello Lybrate user, to have good eyesight, eat foods rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, lutein and beta carotene as they help repair the eyes, such as sweet potatoes, butter, papaya, blueberries, apricot and grapes. Get enough rest, since sleep allows overworked eye muscles to relax completely. Don't stay engaged in one activity for long. Take regular breaks just for 5-10 minutes to rest your eyes. Stay hydrated. Whenever  you have a few extra minutes, fill your mouth with water and then splash water with eyes wide open. This will leave you feeling refreshed, too. Do relaxation exercises. Place your hands together palm to palm and rub them together briskly creating heat. Place them over your eyes and imagine a relaxing place. Focus on an object that's at least 20 feet away, for 20 seconds, every 20 minutes. You'll be surprised at how better your eyes feel. Don't stare at gadgets for too long. Lower the brightness level of your computer screen and phone as it reduces strain. "Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counter-clockwise. Also, after a long day, place cooling cucumber slices on your eyelids as it helps reduce pressure on the eyes. Don't smoke. It has been linked to an increased risk of developing age-related macular degeneration, cataract, and optic nerve damage.

Hello all, I want to know can we take herbal supplements like Ashwagandha, Tulsi,Brahmi, Neem,Gokshura for a long time like 6-8 months? How much dose in grams is safe for a day? Like 250gm 500gm. Some people say there are no side effects and some people say there are serious side effects. Kindly enlighten. Thanks in advance.

I had chronic pellet stool problem standing for years. Tried every medicine but fail. Last I tried himalaya triphala 2 tab twice daily. It greatly relieved my problems. Is it safe to take this medicine for long time. I saw mixed answers everywhere.

It's ok to continue. But more important is lifestyle changes. Have plenty of fluids, seasonal foods. Avoid too much spicy foods. Consult Ayurveda vaidya for panchakarma procedure, vasti.

This happens due to change in location, which has different temperature, humidity, and water quality. Sudden or frequent exposure to varying weather affects our body, leading to imbalance of doshas. Increased kapha dosha.

Calcium can be increased by diet - desi cow milk, and milk products, sesame seeds, a raisins, apricots, drumstick. Also exposure to early morning sun rays helps in absorption of calcium.

I have 3rd degree piles (no bleeding, no pain. I have bought kankayana badi ,chiruvilwadi kwath, triphala guggulu tab and arsoghna badi. How these medicines are to be taken? I do not have constipation, my digestion is normal. I do not have any other disease.

Take kankayana bati daily morning 2 tab, evening 2 tabs. - chiruvilwadi kwath - 10 ml in morning and 10 ml in the evening with luke warm water. Triphala guggulu - 2 tab in morning, 2 tabs in afternoon, and 2 tab in the evening.
