On CBP tests RBC Count 5.95, Hemoglobin 17.7 RDW 15.6. Can you please suggest me my blood results are normal and need any treatment?
I am anemic so can I take revital H with iron supplements after a gap of 12 hours? Will it help to treat anemia quickly?
My son is 4 years old. His weight is 14. 2 kg.he is very energetic but fussy eater. He have frequent infections. On routine examination s doctor find his spleen palpable. But in ultrasound it comes normal. Doctor done his CBC and GBP. His Hb is 12 and other parameter s Normal. Blood picture shows mild microcytic anemia and d/d is iron deficiency anemia and thalassemia trait. How should I differentiate between the two above please advice.
Hi lybrate-user, You may do Iron profile and Hemoglobin HPLC. If Ferritin or Transferrin saturation is low, it is iron deficiency. If Hb A2 on HPLC is more than 3.5%, it is beta thalassemia trait.
Can Hb level increase in 7 to 8 days by orofer injection? Are there any precautions need to be followed in these days?
SIR, I am 40 year Old Muze IRON (Se. FERRITIN) KAMI Hai Maine Injection Amferon Liya Tha Muze Bhot Reaction Said Effect Huva Tha Abhi Doctor Muze Orofer Injection Leneko Kahate Hai Please Suggest Kya Repit Said Effect Hoga Please Help Muze Bhot Tension Hai Hemoglobin 14.5 Se. Ferritin 10.2.
Hi lybrate-user, If you can tolerate Iron pills, it is better to take them for 2 months and stop. No need to repeat ferritin levels after that.
