Pain in the heel not only restricts movement, but the general discomfort on walking or standing also disturbs the whole persona of a person. The pain can be attributed to a medical condition known as Calcaneal Spur. It refers to a sharp, pointed, horny outgrowth on the calcaneal bone present in the heel. The outgrowth is the build-up of calcium deposit on the heel bone. The reason behind Calcaneal Spur formation is repeated stress on the heels. When the heels are exposed to repeated stress, it leads to damage of muscle, ligaments and fascia that cover the heel bone. As a result, the heels are exposed and become prone to trauma and formation of Calcaneal Spur. People who are obese and athletes are prone to develop Calcaneal Spurs. Wearing of high heels and ill-fitting shoes also spurs the formation of calcium deposits on the heel bone. The main symptom of Calcaneal Spur is pain in heel around the spur. The pain gets worse when a person steps on ground after a period of inactivity especially in morning following a long rest. The pain increases while walking, running and standing. Hi, Take homoeopathic medicine - Rhus Tox. 200/ twice a day. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

You need to change your sitting pattern at work. Please ensure you take breaks after every one and half hour, walk around and get back to work. Also your chair height should be adjusted so that your hips and knees are at 90 degrees to each other and your feet in contact with ground. The height of your consumer screen should be such that it's centre is right in line with your eyes to avoid excess stress on your neck. Also start some form of daily activity for 45 mins to maintain the flexibility.

Ideally you need to consult neurophysician for your headache as far as back pain is concerned, you can take pain killers for few days also maintain good sitting posture with proper back support do not sit on floor get into some regular exercise regime take vitamin d supplement.

I am 27 years old. I am having chest pain at left side with pain in left hand and shoulder, neck. Also heavy head, head sensation, and headache with shaking in whole body with mild breathing problem from last 2 months. Also feeling heart beat (dhak- dhak) in whole body specially in stomach. if all reports are normal it may due to gastritis...you can do tests ECHO. Start with easily digested foods such as gelatin, crackers and toast. When you can keep these down, try cereal, rice, fruit, and salty or high-protein, high-carbohydrate foods. Avoid fatty or spicy foods. Wait to eat solid foods until about six hours after the last time you vomited

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

The following tips are advisable for runners, especially for those who are susceptible to low back pain do a thorough warm-up prior to beginning a run stretch the hamstrings (the large muscles in the back of the thigh) twice daily to minimize stress across the low back muscle toning and strength training are also important, particularly with the core muscles of the back cross training is useful, so as not to get into an overuse syndrome wear comfortable, supportive shoes try to avoid running on cement if running consistently brings on back pain symptoms, an evaluation with a spine specialist, including x-rays and perhaps an mri, can be useful to determine the source of that pain.

I am a woman of about 51 years, having diabetes treatment regularly. Once a year, when the season changes from winter to summer in the months of March-April, I get pain in the back followed by acute pain in the lower back side, abdomen, corner of thighs and neck. With time, the pain increases and becomes so acute that I couldn't even move out of my bed without any help. For relief, I take painkillers and hot fomentation regularly but the pain eases a little bit and then again increases. I also get constipation with backache, say I go to pass stools after two days often. It usually happened to me during my young age also but that time, pain remains for two- three days only and after taking lot of bed rest and fomentation, I am relieved. But now the condition is becoming worse day by day. After my periods are stopped in the beginning of 2014, the pain is critical. I regularly take shelcal and calcijoint (once a week) along with diabetes tablet. Kindly guide me what precautions to take and which tablets to continue so that the worse situation doesn't come in the next changing season. Thanks in advance!

It is important to meet orthopaedic surgeon for your pains. May be you can do BMD (Bone mineral density) study before meeting him or after he advises. Hi you have osteophyte formation in your bone -pls go for bone density test. Calcium and uric acid -starts icing proper your knee joint for 7-10 min daily -avoid prolong standing take care.
