8 years back i was joined gym and did workouts hardly with weight lifts then after 2 years i stopped all things then later i had shoulder pain in left hand then later its passed to right hand shoulder too. This is quite a common condition if suddenly stop gym. Exercises. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency Sleep on a hard bed. Use no pillow under the head. We need to control sugar levels with medication exercise and following a diabetic diet and for constipation eat food with high fibre content in your diet and For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and do physiotherapy treatment

Dear lybrate user how start your pain. With spray use hot pack 15 minutes twice a day, stretching exercise of back muscles, strengthening exercise of back muscles, avoid forward bending, heavy weight lifting, prolong standing, sitting. Sit maximum 45 minutes continue. Sit it with proper back support.

Will Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Ease Your Back Pain?

The spine plays a very crucial role, both from a person’s movement and sensation point of view. It carries the nervous supply for a lot of internal organs and the lower body. By virtue of its structure, it also helps in movement through the disks. Due to various reasons, spinal injury is common, causing pain along the back, lower extremities, neck etc.

Medicines and exercise are the first line of treatment for most spinal injuries. The issue, however, is that these only provide relief from the pain and the medicines, but do not actually ‘rectify’ the underlying problem. Whether it is a herniated disk or a pinched nerve, the medicines and exercise can relieve the symptoms, but the disk continues to be herniated and the nerve continues to be pinched. Definite treatment is in the form of surgery, and with recent advancements in the field of spinal surgery, there are minimally invasive surgical options, which provide complete cure with minimal recovery time. Some of the benefits of this are listed below-

  1. Smaller incision compared to traditional surgical procedures, where only the injured area is accessed
  2. The surrounding tissues are untouched, unless they are injured and require repair
  3. Lesser bleeding compared to earlier techniques
  4. Lesser painful procedure

  5. Excessive weight puts strain on the back, and so healing can be delayed or badly affected with more complications. It is not a contraindication, but be prepared for a longer recovery period.

If you have pain in the distal joints ie. wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear then you can do hot water fermentation in that area to reduce the inflammation. Please wear Knee Brace / Elbow Brace / Wrist Brace so that you will feel warm, comfortable and very protective .

Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Musclar spasm & nerve compression might be the reason. X ray is mandatory. 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar.

Knee pain- reasons can be-* cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good. Coconut oil will be soothing in summer. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

I am 27 yrs old man and weight around 80 kg. I am having a ligament injury in my right wrist while playing cricket. I did not paid attention to that and continued to play till that pain is worsened. Hi, take homoeoapthic medicine - ruta g 30/ 3 times a day dailyu and apply rhus tox ointment over the area in soft circular motion and wrap a crepe bandage over it after 1/2 an hour. Avoid movement of the wrist. Revert after 10 days.
