I am a 26 years old and in a long distance relationship since 5 years. I am very much emotionally attached to this guy but we don't share a very good understanding. I get hurt very easily and cry a lot. Also because of my day to day dealing of people, I easily get hurt over what others do to me, I have lost trust in all, I have developed severe anger, I don't feel like sharing my feelings with anyone because no body will understand. I don't talk to my parents about what is bothering me. I have become silent and have bottled up all my feelings. My parents get upset and scolds me that I am always sad and don't talk but they never try to understand what is going inside me. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Since you get easily hurt, you are genetically programmed that way so ideal partner for you is someone who is sensitive more than anything. Else then you should realize, why do you get hurt most of the times. Isn't it because you expect a certain behavior from the other, you have this ideal image of other which is the root of all this frustration. There is nothing ideal in this world except the word ideal, everyone is a mixture of desirable and undesirable and one has to accept or choose the entire package. Neither you will change nor the other, so can this demand for the other to change go? take a counseling session if you feel so. Bottling up is still more hazardous speak out to a friend or a professional!

Take high fiber low fat diet. Do regular exercise. Take plenty of water every day. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Take breakfast heavy, lunch medium and dinner very light.

These symptoms can be seen in cardiac illness and also in anxiety disorder. So kindly consult a cardiologist and rule out any cardiac problem first and then you can consult a psychiatrist.

Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

One of the common doubt my diabetic people ask me about drinking whole milk or low fat milk... let me clear the doubt in scientific way..

In fact, there are good reasons to believe that whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cream, and high-fat cheeses may be better for you than their low-fat alternatives.

Reason #1:  Saturated fat is not harmful to your health

Reason #2:  Low-fat and non-fat dairy products are higher in casein

Casein is a very sticky protein in milk that is quite difficult for humans to digest.  Milk proteins are designed to nourish baby cows, who are outfitted with a special enzyme (rennet) that can break apart casein. Humans do not make rennet, which is one of the reasons why dairy products can cause constipation and other digestive problems.

Reason #3:  Low-fat and non-fat dairy products are higher in whey

Whey proteins raise blood insulin levels just as much as pure sugar does.  Even though lactose, the sugar that naturally occurs in milk, has a low “glycemic index” and therefore does not raise blood sugar very much, whey proteins trigger big insulin spikes in body and destabilize blood sugar and hormone levels, lead to carbohydrate cravings, fatigue, mood swings, and obesity.

Reason 4:  High-fat dairy products contain less protein

This means that people who have dairy protein sensitivities may tolerate them better.  People who have trouble with dairy foods are almost always reacting either to milk carbohydrate (lactose intolerance) or milk proteins (dairy allergy and sensitivity), not to dairy fat. This is why many dairy-sensitive individuals are able to eat butter and heavy cream, which are extremely low in protein.

Reason #5:  High-fat dairy products taste better

They improve the flavor, digestibility, and absorption of foods and are more satisfying, therefore you may find yourself naturally eating less.

Bottom line:  The lower the fat content, the higher the protein content

People who consume the most high-fat dairy products, have a 23-percent lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes than people who have one serving or less but there was no association between intake of low-fat dairy products and lowered type 2 diabetes risk.

Keep in mind that, you choose unsweetened varieties, since sugar and other refined carbohydrates raise insulin levels and disturbs blood sugar levels.
And MODERATION is the key for all the food .

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

Hello, excess body heat can be a result of high metabolic rate or high pitta (digestive fire) and thermic effect of food. You are advised to eat more alkaline food. Here’s a list of alkaline foods you should be eating more of: Fruits Vegetables Greens (spinach, broccoli, cucumbers) Avocado Beans Raw nuts Vegetable juices (carrot, beet) Sprouts (moong dal, chana, soy, alfalfa, broccoli sprouts etc.) Apple Cider Vinegar seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, flax, chia etc.) In addition, Increase your water intake (at least 5 litres a day) and drink green tea 2-3 times a day. And since protein has the highest thermic effect i.e. it produces the highest amount of heat while digesting as compared to other components of food, so it would be wise to decrease your protein intake from animal sources like eggs, chicken fish etc. and eat more plant based diet. if you follow this, there will be no need of medicines. Stay healthy, stay strong.

We all think of clapping as a way to applaud somebody for a job well done in sports, award shows, theater or movies. However, there are a number of hidden benefits that clapping has been proven to have. In the recent years, there are different types of groups in parks who get together in the morning and/or evening. Some of these groups indulge in laughing, there is also another group who gather around to clap.

Our body is a bundle of nerves and blood vessels spread all through the body and is one of the most complex networks we will ever know. Each organ is linked to the other and a bad effect on one organ can affect the other, which may seem remotely linked. The palms in specific contain nerve and blood vessel endings and stimulating them through clapping helps improve health of organs like kidney, digestive tract, and lower back. Sounds interesting? Read on to know more.

There are about 30+ acupressure points in the palms, which are activated when you are clapping. These connect various organs including low back, neck, kidneys, lungs stomach, etc. and have indirect benefits as noted below.

Tips to lose weight  faster: 1. Eat a high-protein breakfast. 2Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice.  3. Drink water a half hour before meals. 4. I am diabetic since 2006, I am 48 yrs old, taking 750 mg metformin twice, I have noted my glucose level is little higher for last one month, if I take 250 mg metformin in morning with breakfast and 750 with lunch and 750 with dinner then sugar level comes normal 120 to 130, my weight is 73 kgs height 5, 8 inch, please advice medication and other advice thanks.

Please don`t increase dose of medicine without consulting. Better you add other medicine tab glimipyride 1 mg 2 times before food. Or you take combination, tab gluformin g 1 two times before food. I like to advice for self measurement of sugar by glucometer, 3 times a day and inform after 7 days.
