This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain. •Standing hamstring stretch: Place the heel of your injured leg on a stool about 15 inches high. Keep your knee straight. Lean forward, bending at the hips until you feel a mild stretch in the back of your thigh. Make sure you do not roll your shoulders and bend at the waist when doing this or you will stretch your lower back instead of your leg. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Cat and camel: Get down on your hands and knees. Let your stomach sag, allowing your back to curve downward. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Then arch your back and hold for 5 seconds. Do 3 sets of 10. •Quadruped arm/leg raise: Get down on your hands and knees. Tighten your abdominal muscles to stiffen your spine. While keeping your abdominals tight, raise one arm and the opposite leg away from you. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Lower your arm and leg slowly and alternate sides. Do this 10 times on each side. •Pelvic tilt: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your abdominal muscles and push your lower back into the floor. Hold this position for 5 seconds, then relax. Do 3 sets of 10. •Partial curl: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles. Tuck your chin to your chest. With your hands stretched out in front of you, curl your upper body forward until your shoulders clear the floor. Hold this position for 3 seconds. Don't hold your breath. It helps to breathe out as you lift your shoulders up. Relax. Repeat 10 times. Build to 3 sets of 10. To challenge yourself, clasp your hands behind your head and keep your elbows out to the side. •Gluteal stretch: Lying on your back with both knees bent, rest the ankle of one leg over the knee of your other leg. Grasp the thigh of the bottom leg and pull that knee toward your chest. You will feel a stretch along the buttocks and possibly along the outside of your hip on the top leg. Hold this for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Extension exercise: Lie face down on the floor for 5 minutes. If this hurts too much, lie face down with a pillow under your stomach. This should relieve your leg or back pain. When you can lie on your stomach for 5 minutes without a pillow, then you can continue with the rest of this exercise.

Homeopathy For Lower Back Pain!

Homeopathy For Lower Back Pain!

Due to an increase in sedentary lifestyle, the number of incidences of lower back pain is on the rise, and that too, at a pretty scary pace. People who suffer from it look at a variety of treatment options such as allopathic painkillers and physiotherapy, but many of them overlook one of the most effective methods that exist – homeopathy.

Homeopathy is the most customised and a highly comprehensive way that one can use to treat a variety of conditions and diseases. This is due to it being tailor-made to fit the patient rather than being a ‘one size fits all’ solution like much of allopathy is.

Homeopathy treatments
When lower back pain is being treated with homeopathy, there is a range of medicines that can be used. One of the most common is Arnica Montana, which is used in the case of minor trauma arising from injuries and falls, or even exerting too much pressure. The reason why this is useful is because it addresses the stiff and bruised muscles one has in such a situation and provides relief.

Talking about the stiffness of the lower back, Bryonia is also a very common homeopathic medicine to address such a problem, especially when one feels that there is tearing pain in the back. Most lower back pains have to do with muscle tissues, which are not in the condition they should be in. As a result, Magnesia Phosphorica, which is a combination of magnesium and phosphorus can be used to good effect as it is one of the homeopathic salts, which improve the tissues. For people who experience spasms in the muscles, this medication is very likely to have a high degree of success because it works as a nerve stabilizer. People who have this sort of pain usually feel that their pain improves if warmth is applied to the area.

Due to spending too much time sitting down and not moving around, it can be so that one experiences pain when standing up from a sitting position. As a matter of fact, this pain may radiate to the hip and make one feel as if the legs are heavier than normal. Unlike other cases, the pain here may not be a shooting one, but it might just be dull, thereby resulting in muscle weakness.

Rhus Toxicodendron has its origins in poison ivy and is used to effectively treat the pain felt from initial movement, which is eased by backward bending and heat. No matter the sort of back pain, homeopathy has a definite cure it.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hello lybrate-user, welcome to icliniq. Painkillers will help, provided you apply warm water over the joint and do active slow movements with it. If there is swelling then apply ice.

I am even taking medicine. I have consulted to doctor and he told me to have som pain killer and a gastric medicine as well as calcium with vitamin d3. Even I am applying moov in that area like 3 times. Still I am suffering problem. And still pain is there. As what the xray report says loss of lumar lordosis due to muscle spasm. Is this a normal thing? Or I should consult some other doctor?

Lower back pain can happen due to several causes. However at your age it is often due to disc degeneration. This in common terms would mean early stages of spondylosis. An award winning scientific research done by my team revealed has shown that by the time Indians reach 30 years of age, 30 % start showing signs of disc degeneration and a handful of them start having episodes of back pain such as yours. There's no need to get worried as this is a part of the normal physiological process. For pain, I would advice you to take a pain killer twice a day for 5 days. Use hot compress twice daily for 15 mins each time and a gel (oxalgin nano gel) 3 times a day. Apart from this go for a walk twice a day. Avoid bending much and do not lift heavy weights and sit or squat on the floor. Go to a physiotherapist who will teach you core strengthening exercises. While the degeneration can not be reversed, it can be prevented from aggravating. If the pain doesn't decrease, you will need to be investigated further for other causes of back pain. Best of luck!

It can be a muscular pull if you are having to walk/stand too long at a stretch then this could come up. Do massage with warm mustard oil daily to relieve pain. Also take mag phos 6x - twice daily for next 7 days and get back to me for proper treatment.
