Hot fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily bhujang asana x 15 timesx twice daily core strengthening exercises. Back stretching.

Dear since you on bed/rest for 15 days, your muscles must have become quite weak and hence is this pain. Do hot fomentation and apply a pain killer gel and support your knee joints with 6" crepe bandages 2 for each knee. Applied from above the ankles to the base of thighs. No squatting on floor, use a commode and avoid stairs. Take a pain killer like ultracet sos for few days. Once your pain settles, start a short morning walk and increase it gradually. If of no avail. Consult an ortho. Surgeon around u.

It could be due to hyperacidity 1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit, tomato etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. 4.Drink plenty of water. Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee if you are having, 7. Avoid stress 8. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days. 9. If no relief, take ECG and Consult physician for further advice

Night knee knee pain is due to arthritis. Only pain during rest is arthritis pain. Sciatica pain may relief if you bend your knee during sleep. Please try some quadriceps hamstring strengthening exercise for knee and low back muscle exercise for your back.

Back pain can result from bad posture, a sudden jerky movement, a lumpy mattress or poor lifting techniques. It can also be caused by injury in a work place, by a sports accident or by muscular spasms. There are also many diseases and pathological conditions that can lead to back pain. These include abdominal or pelvic disease, anxiety, arthritis, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, dermatological problems, kidney disease, rheumatic conditions, tumours and scoliosis. Our modern, sedentary lifestyles have a profound effect on the development of back pain; indeed one of the most effective ways of preventing it is simply to stay active. An average adult in the India spends at least two hours a day in front of a computer screen or television set, and back problems can be triggered if they don’t sit properly. In an age of mobile phones and computer games, such troubles are increasingly inflicting children of school age as well. Top tips for back care: For back pain, better to see your Doctor sooner than later. Take regular exercise – your Doctor can say what’s right for you. Hours in one position can cause problems – avoid computer ‘hump’. During repetitive tasks, vary your rhythm and take frequent breaks. Adjust car seats and on long journeys, take regular breaks to stretch. Pace yourself with heavy work such as gardening – don’t risk a disc! Watch children’s posture – they shouldn’t carry bags on one shoulder or spend too long at a computer without breaks. Avoid strain when lifting, particularly small children and shopping. Your bed could be part of the problem. Seek Doctor advice on choosing a new one. Take a hot bath or shower, soaking in a hot tub, or using a heating pad, hot water bottle, or heat wrap that provides continuous, low-level heat are all ways to bring healing warmth to your lower back.

Posture correction must and do hot fermentation and rest avoid strain full activity like long sitting toward bending lifting heavyweight. Do stretching exercise of spine if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment for few days and immediate relief.

Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. Both hamstring and quadriceps are important group of muscles required for proper functioning of leg especially in athletes. It gets injured when:- 1) there is a muscular imbalance between two group of muscles 2) inadequate warm up before participation in sporting activity 3) fatigue due to over activity 4) sudden acceleration which may stretch a muscle beyond a particular point leading to injury how to prevent it: 1) I always tell to my patients who indulge in sporting activities to do a proper pre-match warm up which relaxes muscles 2) proper and systematic physical therapy for actually both group of muscles 3) to not increase exercise intensity by more than 10% per week 4) if there is a feeling of tightness, then stop exercises ( it is an indication ) please let me know if you need any further help. Knee swelling is sometimes referred to as" water on the knee. The medical term for this condition is knee effusion. Effusion can result from an injury, chronic overuse, or disease. To treat your symptoms we need to identify the likely cause. The application of ice packs on your affected knee is known as a very effective home treatment method in alleviating the symptoms of fluid on the knee. Elevate your leg while applying an ice pack on the affected knee. Give yourself sufficient rest. You need to avoid engaging in strenuous activities. Please consult a physiotherapist to determine the cause of your joint swelling.

Yes. But if it's a complete tear and you are experiencing instability of knee, giving way feeling then you will need ACL reconstruction surgery.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.
