Try this first. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Consult after 5 days. Do not do from top to bottom. Wish you cure without medicine.

Hi. Whenever I have food after 15 to 30 mins I will get such a saviour pain in my stomach nd back I am nt understanding this. I have consulted doctor he has done endoscopy and scan of stomach liver nd everything reports are normal. He said due to food bacteria/infection has happ in stomach. I am Suffering like hell from this stomach pain nd tat will b for 1 hour after tat it will reduce automatically I stay in saudi arabia. Pls pls help me out to overcome this prob. Pls tell me wat I shld eat to reduced this prob. Pls suggest Ms. Asap your replies will b highly appreciated.

Dear Lybrate user The problem you discussed hear. In ayurveda it is called Anna dravya shool. In this the mucus membrane of your stomach become very active after food intake. This problem can not be investigated in any reports. There are some medicine in ayurveda which can reduce your problem. For Ayurvedic medicine please consult me. Till then take precautions like, Don't take to much tea. Never do fast. Never sleep in day time. And sleep early at night. Thanks.

I have a pain in my back for last 2 months I met with a doctors but still its paining. please help me out.
Hi You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.

i'm a 26yr old female.
1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

The pain may be due to age related osteoarthritis of knee. Kindly do thigh muscle strengthening exercises like sitting on chair and lifting the leg straight hold for 10 sec and then relax repeat for 10 times in day and evening. Avoid climbing stairs, sitting down crossed legs, squatting, walking on uneven surfaces, hope this will relieve your pain.

Hi I am 69 year old complete paraplegic having sp. Cord cut by d 5-6 in an accident 5yr ago. My spine is fixed by operation putting some screws etc. I can only sit by spport for some time. I cant balance my body. I have regular pain in back. I am eger to do all my work independently is it possible if yes then how. Managing bladder by cic & bowl by my son. I would actually need to understand your current neurological status but it seems a complete spinal cord injury because you are taking care of your bladder and bowel as well. Unfortunately there is no scientifically proven remedy for complete spinal cord injuries as yet, mainstay remains intensive physical therapy, wheelchair mobilization and supportive medications. But you can be independent for sure for most of your jobs, there is a centre in new delhi by the name of indian spinal injuries center which gives training for this. Strength Extension Exercise for Back

Many back exercises can help strength the spinal column and the supporting muscle ligament's and tendons. Most of these back exercise focus not only on the back but also the abdominal muscle and gluteus hip muscles.they provided strong support for the spine, keeping it in alignment and facilitating movement.

strengthening exercise is important to rehabilitation success The most successful rehabilitation programs understand movement and function require strength.Strength exercise using resistance machine during rehabilitation is helpful because activity level can be accurate measured.

Spine extension exercise are back strength exercise that are very important in counter balancing the many forward bending exercise it can use to strengthen for back muscle, prevent back pain, and promote muscular development front to back .

1-Lie on your stomach with your legs together. Arms along your sides.
2-Lift your abdominal muscle away from the mat.
3-Exhale: Keep your abdominal muscles pulled in extend energy through your spine and out the top of your head to lift your upper body slightly off the mat.
4-Your shoulder blade will slide down your back as your arms reach behind you like they are being blown back. Your head is an extension of your spine. Your gaze will be down .
5- Inhale:Pause Exhale : lengthen and lower Your body to the floor.

Hi My question is how can I get relief from knee pain? Actually I met with an accident at the age of 10. Which caused knee bone fracture. It's took almost two months bed rest for recovery. Advice... Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Dear user for back pain you need to go for xray test, pain may be due to certain reasons like improper sitting posture, driving long, bad sitting on chair. Etc. Take inferential therapy and ultrasound for a week and do regular back strengthening excercises.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.
