Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system...by digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system...take chitrakadi vati after meal...Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day..Take banana milk shake....Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day.. Take sleep after taking meal Drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products.. Like butter...ghee.....

For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Hello, Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done every 6 months. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal.

I am ahigh bp patient,diabetic type2,high cholestrol level,gout patient,male,48 yrs age Taking metformin 500 mg bd,losartin 50 mg,od,atenol 50 mg,allopurinol 300 mg per day, I snore heavily, the present situstion is such thst i breathe heavily and any beside me consider i am sleeping please advise

If you are obese then try to lose your weight. Do some exercises, walking and yoga. Go for nose and throat examination and if required go for sleep study with ent surgeon or chest physician.

Apply a sunscreen in the morning and afternoon and a good moisturiser, Cetaphil Dam lotion at night. Might take 2-3 months, then get back to me.

Hello doctors, warm welcome. Actually I have a problem of frequent urination, almost more than 6 times a day. It makes me feel too inconvenient and I drink water more, but if I drink a glass of water, I used to urinate within 45 mins and it takes usually average of 30 mins after meal and aftr drinking water. I do not know whether its normal or abnormal. Please help me. Thanks in advance :)

Frequent urination can be due to drinking lots of water. It can also be due to cold weather. Or both the factors can act together. Sometimes, in people who are overweight, they tend to urinate frequently. There can always be infection, diabetes kind of problems. But you are too young to have those. If worried get urine analysis test done.

Maintain Healthy Skin - 9 Habits To Do It!

Healthy skin is a sign of overall good health and vitality. Skin problem is one of the most persistent problems encountered by people. It is imperative therefore that you take care of your skin to avoid skin disorders. Various factors such as pollution, smoking, eating processed food and a sedentary lifestyle contribute to unhealthy skin. There are certain habits which can be followed by you on a regular basis to restore the health of your skin. Some of them are-

1. Exercise regularly
Exercising on a regular basis improves your skin health as it increases blood circulation in the body. Consequently, it helps in delivering various nutrients to the skin which in turn defers aging. Daily exercises also prevent the onset of various skin disorders.

2. Keeping it clean
You should keep your skin clean to prevent the buildup of dirt. This prevents clogging of the pores and enables the skin to breathe. 

3. Intake of vitamin C in various forms
Vitamin C is used in the collagen production process by amino acids. One of the most convenient ways of maintaining the glow of your skin is to introduce fruits and vegetables which are rich in vitamin C. 

4. Quit smoking
The pursuit of healthy skin necessitates immediate disengagement with smoking. This fatal habit should be avoided at all cost, as it triggers and facilitates the aging process. It also aggravates the production of free radicals in the skin which in turn adversely affects the skin.

5. Less exposure to the sun
Exposure to ultraviolet rays of the sun may damage the collagen structure of the skin. It also causes tanning and increases your chance of developing skin cancer.

6. Avoid sweet food
Consumption of sweets may lead to the formation of various substances which threaten to damage the collagen structure and subsequently aggravates the aging process.

7. Antioxidants
Fruits and leafy vegetables are generally packed with antioxidants. A potential damage of the skin can be deterred by including them in the diet

8.  Massage
Skin massages facilitate blood circulation on the skin and eradicates the damaging effect of the free radicals. This ensures that you have healthy and refreshed skin.

9. Plant proteins
The level of oestrogen falls drastically in women after menopause, leading to the development of wrinkles.Food such as soy, nuts and beans minimise this effect by replenishing the level of oestrogen in the body and therefore must be incorporated in the diet.
