I delivered my 2nd daughter 1year & 1month ago and it's a normal delivery. I was feeding day & night till 1year & now only at nights ((ie.) 3 to 4 times after she started sleeping at night, till morning). Still I didn't get my menses. My bottom stomach & legs are painful, now & then, since the last 2 weeks.

As you are lactating still, you may not menstruate what is called lactational amenorrhoea. As you are waning breast feeding so be cautious about contraception. Preferably your husband use condoms till your menstruation starts then consult your gynaecologist for contraception advice.

I had spontaneous normal vaginal delivery on 20th September 2015. One junior wrongly stitched my perennial area then she called her senior and she managed it. But on 6th day of my delivery, stitches got tear open. I went to hospital, they said. There was no infection but they can't resuture it. One private doctor is saying that we can restore it. please help me out that whether I should go for restoring or not? And if it heal on its own. How much time it will take? Please advice me.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
You shall have to repair otherwise you may develop genital prolapse later. You must go to a senior gynaecologist who can do the perineal floor repair operation. It should be a good centre with high standard ot facility, where the gyn shall operate. You shall get totally cured.

My father who is about 55 age suffering with diabetes. So please tell what to do to help him ?

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
My father who is about 55 age suffering with diabetes. So please tell what to do to help him ?
Consult a senior and experienced doctor who treat such cases. A diabetologist / endocrinologist is the first preference. Follow his advices. Weight control, regular exercise, dietary (calorie) management, required medicine and regular monitoring for earliest sign of any complication and followup is essential part of management of diabetes. So please do not take it lightly. Do not run after hearsays and un authenticated advices.

You won't feel anything about foetus at 6 weeks. Please do not be over imaginative. Can you send your or your's husband's mail address? I can send you a booklet (at no cost) which may help you with scientific knowledge about development of a foetus during pregnancy.

Possibly these are lymphoid nodules. It increases during any infection, either in your throat or on the scalp. Check with a doctor and take action.

How soon after a muscle strain or sprain can I begin exercising again? Please advise.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
You may wait till the pain is reduced. If its due to internal injury in the muscle fibre you may have to wait little longer. Better consult a doctor who can exactly assess and give you an opinion.

I'm 54 years old male. I have Hernia in right side legs. Please any recommendation without surgery.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
If its hernia no treatment other than surgery can cure you. The more you delay the more it shall be difficult to get cure. Apart from that any emergency situation may develop which is known as'strangulation' that is sometimes life threatening or lead to a prolonged treatment in bed following surgery.
