You can do warm saline water gargles twice a day for 3 days. And for pain you can take painkiller available at any medical store. But you should visit a dentist soon as painkiller will provide temporary relief.

It may be due to calculus deposit on your teeth.Brushing for 3-5 min wont effect if you aren't brushing properly. I would suggest to change your brushing technique and go for teeth scaling .

This is due to a condition called as trismus or lock jaw. It occurs due to your habit of tobacco chewing which results in formation of fibrous bands in mouth and thus leads to reduced mouth opening. I would suggest you to quit your habit as soon as possible and visit a dentist for your check up. He/she will provide you medicines and will guide you for some exercise to increase your mouth opening.

Hello, my mom is planning to get her damaged or decayed tooth extracted. So is there any need for her to take pain killers or antibiotics before extraction. She complains about pain. Previous doctor used to give us tablets before extraction, now we met another dentist, he dint give us any tablets and asked her to have heavy lunch before extraction. thank you.

Pre medication is necessary before extracting the tooth so as to get rid of any sort of infection present that will hinder the healing process. So ideally your mother should take premedication which includes course of antibiotics and painkillers for 3 days.
