I have started body building recently and I am facing some back problem and not getting proper treatment.
Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Avoid going to gym or any other exercises besides Shavasana, give your back muscles proper rest to recover speedily. Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

I have noticed some swelling on my back for the past few days. It gets okay if I put some iodex or spray. I feel that I might have pulled the muscle or is it a side effect of statin? The inflammation is on one side of the back below the shoulder.

I am 23 years old male. I am having shin splints from past 1 month. I went to a orthopedist. He did x-rays of my legs and he said everything is fine and gave me pain killers. I did every stretching exercises he told me to do but my shin splints are not healing as I am taking full rest now a days but I am having my Indian Army physical test after two months. Thanks in advance.

You should give rest to you legs for ate at-least two-three weeks, then you should start training gradually increasing distance. You can also apply Medicrepe bandages to both calf while you are walking/running to expedite healing.

Take proper rest. Take hot fermentation. Do back strengthening exercises. Avoid forward bending and heavy lifting. Avoid prolonged sitting and standing. Do walk regularly.

I am 20 yr old boy I have back pain till years. Back and I am 6'3 ft tall and my legs have difference in lengths what should I do what are the reason?

As your just 20 years don't worry abt difference in your leg length for this and pain do have clinically examined by musculoskeletal physiotherapist or orthopaedician asap for pain have hot water and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time best wishes

It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason your body becomes tired though you had good sleep during the night. The pain in the shoulder and back shows that your muscles become too tired especially in the area of the body where you get maximum body weight (ie. Back) and the shoulder which moves excessively during the day for any activity which we do with our hand. If the pain subsides after the day starts ie. Once your metabolic activity starts in the body then you become alright, so you can take bath in good warm water which would help you to break the tiredness. And also you can check with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician.
