Hi, I am a 23 year old male. 4 years ago, I had a football injury which I initially ignored. Since then, I have done my left foot mri two times and no orthopedic deformity was detected. Then I went for a doppler test and there I was diagnosed with superficial vein thrombosis. I searched and found out that these clots in superficial veins gets healed in 3 or 4 weeks. But I am suffering from it from the last 4 years? I am confused and in stress whether this is even possible. I overthink about the possibilities of dvt. Pls any vascular surgeon help me. Age 24, 5 days ago I had a circumcision. After 48 hrs I had my 2nd dressing and told me that after 1 day you can remove the dressing and clean it with ns and apply the mupirocin ointment.
