I have on and off stomach pain around navel area. Is it due to acidity? Had gas and acidity attack with headache yesterday took ocid 20. Also there is mild dis comfort in mid right side back and when peeing too medicine for uti. What should I do.

Diploma in Anesthesia, MBBS
General Physician, Hyderabad
Apart from hyperacidity the pain could also be due to Amoebic infection. So along with the antacid tablets take anti amoebicidal under medical guidance for 5 - 10 days depending up on the severity. As you have uti als you require urinarty antiseptics with medical consultaion. Take plenty of water for relief of both acidity and uti. Maintain proper personal hygiene of the genitals after urination and after passing of motion. Avoid outside food. For somereason if you had to take outside take very hot stuff like hot rice, hot idli, hot dosa etc. Do not take junk food. Come back for further guidance. Good luck.

This kind of frequency will indicate to have subclinical urinary infection. The infection need to be treated depending up on the type infection the duration of treatment depends. Have you got any urinary test done. If so come back with information for advise, if not done get your urine routine test and culture and sensitivity of pyogenic organisms for proper guidance. What are symptoms seen in angina pectoris, which are the drugs used to treat angina pectoris, what are the side effects of that drugs, we want to take any precautions for it?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Angina is a type of chest pain that results from reduced blood flow to the heart. A lack of blood flow means your heart isn’t getting enough oxygen. The pain is often triggered by physical activity or emotional stress. Stable angina, also called angina pectoris, is the most common type of angina. Stable angina is a predictable pattern of chest pain. You can usually track the pattern based on what you’re doing when you feel the pain in your chest. Tracking stable angina can help you manage your symptoms more easily. Unstable angina is another form of angina. It occurs suddenly and gets worse over time. It may eventually lead to a heart attack. During an episode of stable angina, you may also experience: Shortness of breath Nausea Fatigue Dizziness Profuse sweating Anxiety Treatment for stable angina includes lifestyle changes, medication, and surgery. You can usually predict when the pain will occur, so reducing physical exertion can help manage your chest pain.

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done.

Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach. Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort. PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
Hye. Thankyou for the query. Most men's testicles are about the same size, though it's common for one to be slightly bigger than the other. It's also common for one testicle to hang lower than the other one. The testicles should feel smooth, without any lumps or bumps, and firm but not hard.

Get your scaling polishing done. Sometimes bad breath could be because of fasting or not drinking water for long hours. In such cases use mouth wash.

I am 42 years old and a diabetic since 13 years and I was also alcoholic now I am facing erectile dysfunction.

MD - General Medicine, DTM & H
Internal Medicine Specialist, Motihari
Sexual dysfunction is more common in people with diabetes because poorly controlled diabetes can damage the blood vessels and nervous system causing reduced blood flow and loss of sensation in sexual organs. This can contribute to erectile dysfunction in men and vaginal dryness in women. Also, heavy alcohol is supposed to cause vagal neuropathy and alteration of gonadal hormones, both causing erectile dysfunction. Tight control of blood sugar and abstinence of alcohol is mandatory for further deterioration and improvement.
