Your hair needs a high protein well-rounded diet.A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hair and nails are both protein fibers. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a Registered Dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet Excessive stress and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - Cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - Avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - Excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I being a both a registered dietitian (RD) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications . Some people have this situation. Called conginitally missing tooth. Need management if there is gap. Else lease it. Sometimes it may be locked in the bone. To check with xray.

Hi Mohit. Its an expected side effect of chemotherapy to stop periods. As the chemo works it destroys the normal hormonal balance of the body and periods can stop. Hope she gets well soon

I have gone sleep at afternoon for almost 3 hrs when I woke up I was getting sever head ace and my body heats up and getting body pains fever . It was happened almost for every time when I go for sleep at afternoon. But next day it was normal . Suggest me how to get out of it.

It is at all not a good habit to sleep for 2_3 hrs in the afternoon. One should take rest or a small nap for 15 to 20 minutes or so. This gives you freshness and energy for post lunch session.

Seek prompt medical care if your headache: Is sudden and severe Accompanies a fever, stiff neck, confusion, seizure, double vision, weakness, numbness or difficulty speaking Follows a head injury Gets worse despite rest and pain medication Treatment: Ginger can help reduce inflammation of the blood vessels in the head, thus providing relief from a headache. Mix equal parts of ginger juice and lemon juice. Consume it once or twice a day. Another option is to apply a paste of one teaspoon of dry ginger powder, also called sonth, and two tablespoons of water on the forehead for a few minutes. For further queries get back to me.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. Be healthy.

Follow these methods to clear dark circles fastly: • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly. • Do yogasana specially SINHASANA & Bhramari Pranayam. • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes. • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily. • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily. • • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it. • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily. Hi Insomnia can be due to several causes .A detiled history which includes dietary as well as medical history, stress levels at home and work, daily exercise pattern, sunlight exposure, Vitamin D levels. Coffee /Tea intake per day are all needed to be known. Thyroid hormone levels are all needed to pin point the cause. Have sleep hygiene. Hello. Eat healthy food including all green leafy veges and fresh fruits and include salad in your diet. Drink 10-12 glass water daily to keep you hydrated. Include nuts in your diet. Avoid oily food and too much spicy food because it leads to oily skin and acne. Use mild soap for face. Apply sunscreen on face half an hr before going out in sun. Wash your face with plain water twice a day to remove extra oil from face. You can use homoeopathic soap silk n stay to wash face. All these will help you.

Hi I can understand that weight gain is a big problem now a day. The main reason behind weight gain is eating more of the processed food, less of exercise and drinking less water. For stomach upset, take soft diet. Avoid milk for 1-2 days. Take curd, buttermilk. Probiotics will be helpful. Drink plenty of liquids. Electral ors will help to maintain hydration and electrolytes. Hope this helps you.

A pessimistic attitude increases the risk for death from heart disease, a new study reports. The researchers followed 2, 267 men and women 52 to 76 years old. At the start of the study participants were presented six statements and asked to rate, on a 0 to 4 scale, how well the statements applied to them. The text was either positive (for example, in uncertain times, I usually expect the best) or negative (if something can go wrong for me, it will). The scientists found that those in the highest one-quarter of scores on pessimism were more than twice as likely to die of heart disease as those in the lowest one-quarter.
