Hi I am 28 years old. I just want to know that is running and walking exercise affect our period? Because before my period continues 3-4 days, recently I started exercises and felt that my period decreased to 2 days. Please suggest something.

Periods lasting from 2-7 days is considered as normal menses. Less flow for this short duration does not warrant any tests or treatment. If they come on time even with little irregularity, more than or equal to 2 days and > or equal to 1 pad in a day then menses are normal. Sometimes hormonal changes or stress or weight gain can reduce the flow of menses but it will get cured automatically. It is not related to exercise.

There isn’t any one time frame where all STDs and HIV should up, therefore, there isn’t a simple answer to this question. If you have had oral sex and are worried about an STD or HIV, you should get tested 1 to 2 weeks after and again 90 days later. This is because different STDs are detected at different times: Chlamydia - anytime from 1 week to 3 weeks Gonorrhea - anytime from 2 days to 30 Syphilis - anytime from 10 days to 3 months Herpes – anytime from 2 weeks to 3 months Hepatitis B – anytime from 3 weeks to 2 months Hepatitis C – anytime up to 6 months HIV – anytime from 4 weeks to 3 months Once you get tested, you should abstain from sex with anyone until you have received the results. Treatment depends on the results.

I am 24 yrs old married woman. Its been 8 months since I am married. Recently I have been diagnosed with endometriosis. Although my left ovary is normal. Right ovary has 2 cysts. One of size 32x40mm. Possible and if you get pregnancy it will help in endometriosis. You have two options- try for pregnancy and if you fail go for laproscopy or laproscopy now. Important to do husband's semen as first step.

How often have you heard the aphorism "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" and wondered if it is any close to the truth? Well, studies reveal that eating this delicious fruit everyday day may not cut the number of visits you make to the doctor. However, it definitely helps in keeping your pharmacy bills at bay due to its numerous health benefits. Read on to find how apples are true to the modified saying 'An apple a day keeps the pharmacist away'.

1. Fights type 2 diabetes: Apples are known to alter circulating glucose levels to a minimum amount. This helps in controlling your blood sugar level. Hello. My name is barbara and im 16 years old. I want to ask you about my problems with menstruation. My last was in January this year. My menstruation last 7 days and heavy. My menstruation started when I was 12 years and since then my periods are very irregular (5-6 times/year). Also I have hair growth on my chin (hirsutism) and lower back pain. My weight is 114 kg and height 180 cm. I have hypertension and taking Concor (bisoprolol) 2, 5 mg/day. Im taking sertraline (SSRI) 50 mg/day and xanax 0, 25 mg/day. Thank you.

Hello, Post recanalisation, there may be chances of ectopic but ivf success rates are not determined post recamalisation. The world wide success rates post ivf remains 30-35%.

Actually you should go for diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy and dye test. Endometrial biopsy is taken to rule out uterine TB which is a common cause of infertility.

I got intimated with my boyfriend on January (no contraception). He did not have ejaculation or we did not have any penetration. While sucking his penis there was a sticky thing I felt and except it nothing came from his penis. I got my period till January February and March but on April no menses. I am diagnosed pcos. Hi lybrate-user. No its impossible to get pregnant in may by sexual activity in january where you had normal periods in between. Im sure its due to the hormonal disturbance caused by pcod.
