Wisdom tooth does take time to erupt. You try Gumtone Powder rubbing on it , it is harmless even if you swallow a bit. You can apply clove oil or eat cloves as it is , take a pain killer. Wait and watch for few more days before you take a decision.

Take Chamomilla 6C in water (diluted) now. It will be reduced. And whenever you feel such pain in teeth you can have it in water. It will be relieved within 15-20 mins itself. Take care. :)

I am 28 year old man. I have problem in my teeth some bad smells are coming from that. My with feel uncomfortable when she kiss me. I am pure jain. I can't understand what to do. Please give me proper suggestion so that my wife can kiss me and both feel better.

Hello lybrate-user. Your teeth smell bad because of the bacteria in gums. So I would suggest you get done a through cleaning which is called SRP in dental terms from a dentist to improve your gum health. After that you yourself can maintain your oral health at home with brushing and using mouthwashes and hopefully your bad breath will reduce down and you may be able to enjoy your personal life soon!

Yes it can be managed, first we need identify the cause in most cases it is due to stress that is why middle aged women are more prone to it, avoid spicy food, have more of green veges, raw tomato salads, some anti oxidant supplements followed by local application of immunomodulators, and if required mood elevators. Every individual reacts differently, so am sorry cannot be of much help to you online, we need to have a weekly then monthly and then yearly followup.

9 Tips to Look After Your Teeth

9 Tips to Look After Your Teeth

Brush at least twice a day. The best time to brush teeth is after meals. Choose a toothbrush with a small head for better access to back teeth. Soft bristles are kinder on your gums.

  1. Use fluoridated toothpaste. Fluoride helps to harden tooth enamel and reduces your risk of decay.
  2. Brush thoroughly. Tooth brushing should take between two and three minutes.
  3. Floss your teeth daily. Use a slow and gentle sawing motion.
  4. Limit acidic drinks like soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices. Food acids soften tooth material and dissolve the minerals in tooth enamel, causing holes (cavities or caries). In severe cases, teeth may be 'eaten' right down to the gum.
  5. Limit sugary foods. Bacteria in dental plaque change sugars into acids.
  6. Protect your teeth from injury. Wear a mouthguard or full-face helmet when playing sports.
  7. Try to save a knocked out tooth. If possible, hold the tooth back in place while you seek immediate dental advice. If this is not possible, wrap the tooth in plastic or place it in milk and seek dental advice immediately.
  8. Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food. If you use them to crack nuts, remove bottle tops or rip open packaging, you risk chipping or even breaking your teeth.
  9. See your dentist for regular check-ups. You should also visit your dentist if you have a dental problem such as a toothache or bleeding gums.
