Hi Lybrate user, it's absolutely fine to run daily with adequate rest for a day. Regarding physical activity at gym need to know the details. There is no need for you to start drinking alcohol. Keep a check on water intake and consume atleast 3 to 4 litre water Secondly don't drink water with food or after food. Keep a gap and look for habits that maybe causing gastric trouble as you eat outside.

I am suffering from severe gas trouble. Sometimes I get pain in my abdomen. How to reduce gas trouble?
1. Avoid Foods Known to Cause Gas 2.Cinnamon Cinnamon will soothe your stomach and also prevent further formation of gas. Add one-half teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a cup of warm milk. Stir it well and then drink it. You can also add some honey. Alternatively, you can make cinnamon tea by adding some cinnamon powder to a cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a few minutes and then drink it. 3.Take equal parts of ground ginger, fennel, and cardamom. Mix them thoroughly. Now, take a cup of water. Add one teaspoon of this mixture and a pinch of asafetida (hing) in it. Drink this once or twice a day.

Post pregnancy hair fall starts after 3 months after delivery. It happens because of sudden dip of hormone oestrogen.Normally it settles on its own. Psoriasis is an autoimmune problem where body's self defence mechanism is not functioning properly. Here we need to built the immunity of the body and treat externally with some local application. It can be done . It is important to check the scalp and even test the hair. Consult Trichologist

Fever from 4or5 days about 99-100 degree. There was no dengue, malaria and typhoid in blood test. Why it is?

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
Fever from 4or5 days about 99-100 degree. There was no dengue, malaria and typhoid in blood test. Why it is?
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever  -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc.  -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport.  -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly
