Usually iron tablet don't cause such effects. You may need to go for more tests. To identify the cause. Also you will need to give more detailed history. Without that it is not possible to state any cause of it.

He is definitely in kidney failure and if allowed to continue like that he is likely to sleep into coma. Dialysis for him is the need of the hour for him.

Hi The colour of urine was changed due to antibiotics and it is a normal thing, you don't need to panic about it. You can continue taking the antibiotics as prescribed as leaving it in mid of treatment creates resistance towards the particular antibiotic. After two three days when the treatment is over the colour of urine will become normal but if it continues to be the same then you can consult your physician else there is no need to worry. I hope it resolved your query or you can contact me again.

Tips for removing kidney stones: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. 10. Take 2 tab neeri thrice daily with water after meals.

My dad is a 56 years chronic kidney failure patient with blood grp O+ve and is now on dialysis. We are looking for kidney transplant but don't have same group donor from our family. Should we wait for a cadaverist or go for an incompatible transplant.

I can appreciate your concern. Since you don't have same blood group donor in your family, you can resort to various options namely Paired donor exchange/swap donor/ABO incompatible/cadaver transplant/unrelated same blood group donor.
