Burning sensation in knees, and becomes stiff while standing within 5 min, and also problems at toes.
Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am having this pain in my muscle while swimming is it something to worry about.
Swimming injuries most commonly occur as a result of: overtraining poor technique sudden spike in workload (non-graduated) treatment involves manual therapy but more importantly, finding the root cause of the injury and modifying stroke technique to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Common treatment modalities include: adopt a good stroke technique mix it up! avoid overtraining in one particular style of swimming core strengthening, rotator cuff strengthening and land based exercises done pre, post and during your swimming season. Tens machine. Ultrasound. Mobilisations and manipulations. Rest, ice, compression, elevation (rice). Please see a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your condition. Best wishes.

Herniated disks or bone spurs in the vertebrae of the neck may become the reason behind severe neck pain. They sometimes take too much space and compress the nerves branching out from the spinal cord.

You are only 27 and if there is acl tear and you not get it operated early you will have osteoarthritis of knee and permanent pain, arthroscopy is a very safe surgery in good hands, it's an telescopic surgery of hardly 45 min, don't worry choose a good doctor and go for it.

- use of tens / ift. - you can teach him exercises for neck, its precautions and for radiating pain to lateral side of arm radial nerve mobilasation. - for lumbar exercises (which includes priopreioception, balancing exercises as sacaral nerve roots are afffected) - stroking of fingers or with brush will enhance his sensations) - strengthening of affected and unaffected muscles. - teach him exercises of upper limb which he could do independendly. - teach him sitting to standing with use of assisted device, whether on wheelchair or using sticks. - initially take small goals which patient wants first to do his ADL, this boost your and patients confidence always. - you can also watch utube vedios also for your special goal related treatment.

Having pain in my feet since 4 to 5 months. Homeopathic treatment is going on. But its not working. What should I do then?

Having pain in my feet since 4 to 5 months. Homeopathic treatment is going on. But its not working. What should I do ...
I understand your pain. Take some alum and mix well in hot water. Immerse your foot and take hot fermentation for 15 min thrice a day. When your feet is in water do some exercises like making circle/alphabet, Fisting all toes, then individual toe movements. This will give you relief from your pain and discomfort. You can also take laser and ift at your nearby physiotherapy center. For any doubt please contact. Make a habit not to stand for long time in one position or do not stand bare foot. Take a break for 4-5 min and relax your ankle/ foot muscles. Make a habit of doing calf stretching. This will maintain your blood flow in legs and will decrease the level of pain and gives you recovery very soon. Try to avoid wearing heels. Direct pressure on foot should be avoided. Best regards.

Pain in the heel not only restricts movement, but the general discomfort on walking or standing also disturbs the whole persona of a person. The pain can be attributed to a medical condition known as Calcaneal Spur. It refers to a sharp, pointed, horny outgrowth on the calcaneal bone present in the heel. The outgrowth is the build-up of calcium deposit on the heel bone. The reason behind Calcaneal Spur formation is repeated stress on the heels. When the heels are exposed to repeated stress, it leads to damage of muscle, ligaments and fascia that cover the heel bone. As a result, the heels are exposed and become prone to trauma and formation of Calcaneal Spur. People who are obese and athletes are prone to develop Calcaneal Spurs. Wearing of high heels and ill-fitting shoes also spurs the formation of calcium deposits on the heel bone. The main symptom of Calcaneal Spur is pain in heel around the spur. The pain gets worse when a person steps on ground after a period of inactivity especially in morning following a long rest. The pain increases while walking, running and standing. The character of pain may be described as sharp pain, dull pain or pain as from pin-pricking. Homeopathic medicines offer a very safe and complete treatment of Calcaneal Spur. The Homeopathic medicines for calcaneal spur are made of natural substances and have no side effects. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects
